That works, thank you.
I dragged the images into the browser address bar. But a new tab for every picture…
Unfortunately, it becomes quite complicated with multiple files.
I can apparently forget about self-created “playlists” like I used to.
Before the update, for example, I could select several files (videos/images) in the file explorer, then add more as I wanted and stream them to the TV-Box.
The network share has been missing since the update.
Please correct me if I missed something in the Google browser, i.e. to simply stream several files?
Playback from PC on TV-Box no longer possible (since update), bug?
I own the TV-Box 21 (IP1800). Since the Android 12 update, however, I have missed an extremely useful function:
So far I was able to stream one (or more) video/image files from the file explorer using the context menu: “Play on device >” to the TV-Box using a Windows 10 PC.
As a result, this file, or a compiled playlist, was played on the television.
Unfortunately this ended with the update.
The TV-Box or its “display name” is simply no longer given to me in the context menu, it is missing. Under “Devices and Printers” it is grayed out and shown as “Not connected” (“Status: Network connected; Device status: Not tied together”).
All devices are on the same network. The “problem” exists on all PCs (Win 10/11) and none of the two TV boxes I own are still displayed (whether on or off).
The TVs themselves will still appear in the context menu under “Play on device >” if they are turned on. Since they are a bit older, they do not support some required file types, codecs etc., so I prefer the TV-Box for streaming.
The update gave me one great new feature and took one away, so to speak.
Have you noticed this too? Does anyone know a solution? Or is this a known bug that is still being fixed?
Thanks for your help!
Thanks! My second television apparently has Bluetooth, as I found out yesterday. In any case, the TV is displayed to me when I search via Bluetooth with my smartphone.
It’s an older Samsung Smart TV. I just can’t find a Bluetooth menu on the TV anywhere. I’ll probably first have to find out the exact name of the TV and then search specifically for BT in its manuals.
Thank you!
I really had to unpair the buds from the smartphone first, then the pairing with the TV Box 21 also worked 🙂
Now the speaker has no sound when I use the buds (which is a good thing in 90% of all cases).
Does anyone know if there is a setting so that you can use or listen to Bluetooth headphones and TV speakers at the same time? and can adjust the volume individually.
(I know something like this from the Sennheiser RS 195, but they also have their own station)
Thank you for your help!
TV Box 21 after Android 12 Update - Connecting Bluetooth headphones, even possible?
I use Swisscom TV Box 21 (IP1800).
The Android 12 update was installed successfully. Now I would be interested to know whether it is possible to connect Bluetooth headphones to the TV box.
The update states the following:
New features:
- Bluetooth function for connecting wireless headphones or sound systems
Source: [https://www.swisscom.ch/de/privatkunden/hilfe/blue-tv/update.html?campID=SC\_tv-update](https://www.swisscom.ch/de/privatkunden /hilfe/blue-tv/update.html?campID=SC_tv-update)
I found the Bluetooth function under: Settings (gear) -> System -> Google Settings -> Remote control and accessories -> Add accessories, click (this is what we search for).
Of course, I also activate the Bluetooth pairing mode on the Bluetooth headphones (Galaxy Buds3 Pro).
Unfortunately, Bluetooth pairing with the buds has so far been unsuccessful.
When I search for Bluetooth, I only see “DTV Bluetooth” and sometimes (I assume) the neighbor’s TV. Question: What exactly is “DTV Bluetooth”?
For the devices that are already connected, the remote control for the TV box is given to me: “SCTV RC2000”.
Does anyone have any tips or experience with Bluetooth since the update to the IP1800?
It would be really cool if I could connect the headphones (of course there could be issues with audio latency, distortion, etc.).
Thank you!
I have the Galaxy S7 with Android 7. I got it from Swisscom.
Now I have the same or similar problem with call forwarding and call blocking (which can never be loaded at all without a subsequent error message).
It loads little by little and at the end you get the error message.
Sometimes the error occurs in the call settings or in “Additional settings”.
The funny thing is that after restarting the device, call diversion can be loaded without an error message regarding the SIM card.
Does anyone have an idea why it works the first time (after a restart) and the data is loaded otherwise, only with a subsequent error message?Kind regards
