From the third onwards, in my opinion it has to be a VoiP ** (Rousseau, Montreux etc.). The Rousseau certainly has a base station** and this can be plugged into any Ethernet “socket”.
Rousseau and Montreux are DECT phones, which is not desired here…
You have to wait until Software 7 of the Internet box comes out (possibly in September), then you can connect and operate “any” VoIP telephones. To what extent Multiline number allocation is possible there is beyond my knowledge.
Otherwise, is there still/soon from Swisscom Business? The wired IP telephone “Sarnen”, to what extent it makes sense / can be operated multiline on the Internet box, remains to be seen…
Analog telephones definitely only work 2 (multiline) on the Internet box
Speaking of faxing on an AllIP-Anschluss: It’s a lottery that it works. This requires special settings on the fax machine and these settings are available on very few devices and if they do, there is no guarantee that it will work properly.
