    WiFi has nothing to do with mobile data. (Except that both allow access to the Internet).

    But if one does, that doesn’t necessarily mean that the other will automatically do the same. There are different hardware and software areas built into the device…

    As long as the mobile phone is not registered for the packet data service (Packet Switched => PS), no 3G, 4G, H, H+, G or E symbol appears on the display. During this time, only the circuit switched service (Circuit Switched => CS) can be used (voice telephony). In Android jargon, the packet data service is called “mobile data”.

    Either the packet data service is turned off or the packet data service (APN) access point is not configured correctly. I’m guessing the second one. How to configure the access point (APN) has already been shown in detail.
