Hello @kaetho
Had to go with this station.
[Gigaset Basis IP](https://www.swisscom.ch/de/privatkunden/hilfe/geraet/festnetz-ip/gigaset-basisstation-ip-base-comfort.html#acc-aZ3JpA%5Bselected%5D%5B% 5D=1)
This can do IP telephony.

@bosi Hey great, I’m getting a 10GBit Anschluss from Green in 3 weeks (Swisscom is behind it) and I’ve been looking for days how I can get a Dream Machine SE directly attached to it. I had already given up hope.
Maybe a slightly stupid question:
- Allnet says the following: “SFP+ based 10GBase-X GbE interface”
- Do I understand correctly that an RJ45 cable must be used for the OTO socket?
My OTO box isn’t there yet, but until now I thought that you had to connect glass cables to the OTO box.
I want to go online with the Dream Machine SE right from the start, without first connecting the Zyxel router to it.
Hello @kaetho
Well, landlines are not an issue for me. This environment is my “laboratory environment” in which I test configurations that I then implement in our company network, in other words.. my playground 🙂
What Swisscom also provides are the SIP Credentials which can then be set up on any IP device. .
We [phone over Teams]. gnid=11995561613&adgroupid=118426361200&gad_source=1&gbraid=0AAAAADEc1yeAMqV-czNkwx-P Aiwd9edku&gclid=EAIaIQobChMIpOKOxfCoiQMVZpqDBx0XHifhEAAYASAAEgI6KPD_BwE&gclsrc=aw.ds) and can therefore also be reached via a “classic” landline number.
Hello Meudaulo48
No, the module has a normal fiber Anschluss, so you can use the cable from the ODO socket directly to the module
See left side.. is green 😉

Hello @Stupacheid26
Depending on the hardware provider, significant outages can occur if the cloud gateway is unavailable.
If DHCP, DNS, guest WLAN and special WLAN configurations do not play a central role, there is basically nothing to say against it.
However, an on-premise infrastructure directly on the device opens up numerous other possibilities. Modern Ubiquiti gateways, for example, offer reliability through shadowing and similar technologies.

Which Swisscom fiber optic cable is the socket on the module for?
For the normal XGS-PON-FTTH cable from Swisscom, i.e. the one with the red plug, or for another plug?

Hello @Werner
That should work
Fiber optic cable from Digitec.
And Swisscom has colored the plug red just for itself, so that it is easier for support.
What does the plug look like? Green blue oh you have the wrong cable that doesn’t work. You have to use the one with the green and red plug, it’s too short…
Greetings Lorenz
@Tajdk Test whether the SFP+ is recognized in your router slot.
You can then register the module with www.swisscom.ch/start.
But I have my doubts as to whether native IPV6 will work on the RES Anschluss without any problems.

I ordered my Anschluss from green.ch, but the line is still from Swisscom.
Green sent me a Zyxel AX7501.
There I should configure VLAN ID 10, which is the same as the ALL-BM410 module.
But then set option 43 in DHCP Options. The ALL-BM410 module does not have this option at all.
Do you think that the same settings according to post 11 would also work on green.ch? I’ve already pinged support there, but maybe someone here already has experience.

Two misunderstandings that need to be corrected here:
- The settings from post 11 will certainly not work with a “non-blue Internet subscription” because they are specific to a blue Internet subscription and will only work together with a blue Internet subscription
- Settings for a DHCP option are never made on your bridge or an SFP+ module, but always on the router, which ultimately manages the connection to the Internet as a whole.
So if Green actually requires DHCP option 43 to access your Internet subscription (which I can’t judge myself), then this is not a question of the XGS-PON SFP+ slot, but of your router, which I don’t know either.

OK, yes, I was unclear. Of course, it’s about configuring the Internet connection on the router.
Then asked differently. I know, I’m here in a Swisscom forum and it’s about a Green Anschluss. But since Swisscom provides the line, I allow myself that.
Does anyone have experience configuring a UDM SE with an ALL-BM410 SFP bridge on a Green.ch fiber optic Anschluss? If so, I would be grateful for the configuration if it runs for someone.
@Meudaulo48 Swisscom only provides the lines (infrastructure) of the Green company.
The Green company does the configuration (ONT/OLT) and operation.
That’s why you’re in the wrong place to ask your questions.
