How to put IB2 into bridge mode

I want to use a separate router and put my SC IB2 into bridge mode. Any know how it can be done?

Bridge mode is not available for residential/private customers with an Internet-Box

possibility of upgrading to an SME subscription and using a Centro Business as a router

@Nimmiotheit93 It is not possible, as IB2 doesn't do this.

Thanks. So the most i can do is to have a static IP between IB & router...?

 

Does a client VPN still work through the router in this set up?

Hi @Nimmiotheit93 

You can enable DMZ-mode.

This way you can still mange all port-forwardings etc. on your router, as the Internetbox will forward any incoming traffic to it.

Which VPN-solution will you use?

Please note, that you will have to disable the integrated VPN-server on the internetbox, if you want to use IPSEC on your router.
