Dear sirs,

 

I experience very slow internet currently. I consider upgrading to 200mbit/s connection. Is there a notice periode when i first go from 50mbit/s to 200mbit/s and later decide to go back to 50mbit/s?

You can upgrade and downgrade your Internet speed as you wish without any notice period or charge.

 

Simply go on your My Swisscom account under Internet > Adjust product > choose Internet M, it's done.

most Swisscom contracts are for 14 days on trial and cancellation possible without charge if not satisfied

it is still preferable to contact the Hotline for administrative questions

How can I measure the Internet speed?

 

Swisscom recommends the following applications for speed measurements:

  • Swisscom Home App: With the Swisscom Home app, you can measure the speed between your smartphone and Internet-Box as well as between the Internet-Box and Internet.
  • Internet-Box web portal: you can also measure the speed between the Internet-Box and the Internet in your Internet-Box web portal. To do this, enter 192.168.1.1 in the browser field or http://internetbox.home and perform a speed test. Please note that you only have access to the Web portal when your home network is connected to your Internet-Box
