I must have accidentally changed the connection parameters to our account, with validation by SMS.

As we have two email addresses on the account, this poses a problem.

How to remove SMS validation and only keep the password?

@Fleufretau70 Hello

This happens in your Customer area (My Swisscom). Click on your Avatar which is located at the top right, a menu opens and click on “Manage Login” after opening the latter go to the right and open the “authentication” box two-factor" and deactivate it

Good morning,

since today, for no reason, I have a security text message that comes to my phone number when I want to connect to my bluewin email.

It’s something that I really like, but given that I’m sharing it with a second person, it doesn’t help at all.

Is it possible to disable this security?

If yes, how to do it?

Thanks everyone!!

@Fleprausio93 Hello

To deactivate double authentication with SMS You must go to your Customer Area (My Swisscom).

In the Customer area you must open the “Panorama” menu then go to the “Main functions” and click on “Show all”

From there is the section “My Profile” open the menu “Change connection method” and there on the far right is the tile “Login Modes” Two-factor authentication and activated only for protected domains. check the box "Only protected areas such as connection data or unusual connection attempts in MySwisscom. In this case an SMS will be received and not for opening the Webmail

For a few days, when I connect with my email, I am asked for a security code apart from my identification and my password. This security code appears on my cell phone.

I don’t want this extra system. What should I do if I want to enter my email on my laptop and I don’t have my cell phone handy?

I would like to return to the login system by identification and password

@Haufofock18 What you can do is set double authentication only for specially protected domains (invoice, private data, etc.), then this does not concern the E-mai account. You can do this in My Swisscom under “Manage login”.

[Manage login - My Swisscom](https://www.swisscom.ch/myswisscom/myprofile/manage-login?adobe_mc=MCMID%3D42168555733 068872101524087203929086645%7CMCORGID%3DA174401053C92A7E0A490D4C%2540AdobeOrg%7CTS%3D1681378374)

Or they completely delete the phone number stored there, but this comes at the expense of security.

Hello @Haufofock18,

Have you managed to adjust the settings in your My Swisscom account as suggested by @Gaeilgeoir? If necessary, you will find additional information about 2-factor authentication in this [article](https://community.swisscom.ch/t5/Base-de-connaissances-Internet/Authentification-%C3%A0- 2-factors-better-lock-2-times/ta-p/741665).

Have a nice weekend

Good morning,

Bluewin recently asks you to enter your phone number to obtain a code to open your mailbox.

This process is a major handicap for me. Firstly, I do not need, nor ask for, 2nd security and secondly, when I am abroad, it is not always possible for me to receive this code by telephone, as I simply do not have access to my text messages excluding Whatsapp.

Does anyone know how to get rid of this phone number request that is blocking my access to emails?

Thank you in advance

Hello Fiodampeus79

This happens in your Customer area (My Swisscom). Click on your Avatar located at the top right, a menu opens, then click on “Manage Login”. After opening this page, go to the right and open the “two-factor authentication” box, then turn it off.
