can't access my server over ssh in LAN

Hello, I'm running a raspberry pi 4 connected directly over ethernet to internet-box 3. I'm able to connect to pi over vnc viewer but ssh doesn't reach it. SSH is activated on raspberry.

ssh: connect to host 192.168.1.17 port 22: Host is down

what operating system do you have installed on the Raspberry Pi?
Have you ever tried to restart the server? Usually something gets stuck on the Pi and a restart will fix it.

If a reboot still doesn't help, I would suggest you to go to the pi via VNC and then do the following if you have a Debian version
