Swisscom TV and Logitec Harmony remote controls

Hello, I am trying to find out how I can configure my Harmony 525 universal remote to work with my current Swisscom TV black HDI box. I was hoping that someone could tell me the manufacturerer and model number so I can set it up with the remote.

I have searched both the Logitec and Swisscom site unsuccessfully, and the box has no identification on it regarding manufacturer or model number.

Any help would be appreciated.

Regards to all,

Joe

There should be a sticker on the bottom of the box.

Swisscom has several boxes.

Use Swisscom KMM3010-SC-A for the old black and silver Box with video recorder (even the black one is KMM3010-SC-B)

Swisscom VIP1200E for the old STB without recorder

Swisscom STB3210-DVR-A for the new STB with recorder

Swisscom STB3310-NDVR-A for the new STB without recorder

old or new box? if the original remote is silver you have an old one, if the remote is black you have a new one.

Thanks for the reply.

The Swisscom model number is KMM310-SC-B, but what I really need is the manufacturer.

When I enter the Logitec remote configuration software, it asks me for a manufacturer so that it can configure itself with the proper infrared range.

After looking up the MAC address, I believe it is a Cisco/Linksys box. Could you confirm?

Yes it is a cisco box (scientific atlanta)

But in the Logitech Database you should use the manufactur Swisscom 🙂

I use a harmony one. But I think your remote use the same database?

Thanks again for your help.

I’ll give this a try and let you know.

Does your harmony One work as exepcted with SwisscomTV?

Joe

Yes. It works fine 🙂

I gave you a hint to use KMM3010-SC-A instead of KMM3010-SC-B, because the d-pad works with KMM3010-SC-A.

Otherwise you have to submit the codes to the remote.
