We have just switched over from copper to glass fibre.
Currently, we have two phones. One, older apparatus, is wired directly to the Swisscom router, the other apparatus is a cordless HD phone.
The question relates to answering incoming calls. Before changing to glass fibre, we also had two phones, the cordless apparatus had a base station wired to the phone network. We could pick up a call on one apparatus and if necessary someone else could pick up the same call on the other phone. (The first apparatus could then be hung up.) Being able to do this is at times very convenient, but seems to be no longer possible with the new system.
I should emphasise that I am not referring to 'parallel calling' (receiving a second incoming call on the second apparatus. This is dealt with extensivley on the Swisscom website.
Is there a way of being able to take the one incoming call on the second apparatus?
Thanks for your inputs.
