What I think is cool about the Fair Flat is that after the 2GB in the EU you can also book 6GB at 5 CHF/GB. In my opinion, no other provider offers this.

1GB of roaming data usually costs around 15 CHF.

Yes, this subscription is an exception with CHF 5.- for 1GB in the EU/UK. Otherwise data packages for 1GB at Wingo cost 15.90.-, which is also quite expensive.

You mean, if I switch to Fair Flat without 5G now, can I assume that 5G will be added sooner or later as a promo?

From experience, yes.

You can first take the Fairflat without 5G and you will notice that everything actually works well with 4G 😉

Yes, at some point there will definitely be another promo for the 5G option at Wingo. It’s usually a 50% discount, rarely free. There is absolutely nothing wrong with taking a subscription without 5G for now. As soon as there is a promo, you as an existing customer can order the 5G option at any time.

Basically:

Buying data packages from a Swiss provider is currently simply never worth it from an economic point of view.

With the introduction of dual SIM-capable mobile phones and the ability for eSIM, the global market has definitely liberalized and opened up for us customers to purchase data packages.

Data packages for any country have therefore become a commodity that is very easily available to every buyer and is just a few clicks away on the Internet.

Even with data packages for Switzerland, if you don’t buy them from a Swiss provider, but rather from an international provider as a temporary eSIM, for example, which you then activate on your own mobile as a second SIM purely for the data, they are around a factor of 5 times cheaper as if you were to buy it directly in Switzerland for the same mobile network.

You’re right of course.

In my specific case, I am rarely abroad and don’t need a lot of data, but I still appreciate the offer.

And I already use my DualSims for private and business purposes, so I don’t want to just replace one during the holidays 🙂

I have been using the mobile subscription “L” with 4 MultiDevice SIM cards for a long time and have not yet found a cheaper subscription with this feature for Fr. 69.- (credit Fr. 30.-) per month.

I go to Europe about 4-5 times a year and use the MultiDevice for that.

1. Mobile routers.

2. iPad.

3. Language translator.

4. is not in use.

Wingo (SC ) is the last provider to do 5G extra!😡 The competition is also the cheapest among resellers, e.g. D. R. Automatically and at no extra charge!

Of course also with the overpriced SC subscriptions!

I’ve been checking the Wingo website several times a week for months, but there has never been an offer for a 50% promotion on 5G during this time. Will this ever happen again?

Show original language (German)

@hwro It was in action about 5 weeks ago, and about 7 weeks ago too

It keeps coming back

Otherwise, go through support (if you’re already a customer via Whatsapp, otherwise go through the order hotline), they’re usually very accommodating when it comes to discounts like this, just ask nicely if you can have 5G for 5 Fr

If I’m not in a hurry, I would definitely check out the Black Friday offers. In recent years, real bargains have been possible with many providers, including Wingo.
