“Blue Internet S” extension after trial period

  • Good morning,

To begin with, I am very happy with Swisscom, I have always had impeccable service.

A year ago I went to a Swisscom store to buy AirPods. The seller offered me a free trial of “blue Internet M” for one year.

I insisted that I was okay with the trial but didn’t want an automatic renewal. The seller assured me that I would receive a text and email before the end of the trial so I could stop the trial.

Guess, I can’t find an end of trial or extension text message or email.

I am disappointed, I feel like I was cheated, I expected better from Swisscom (employees).

Although I will stay with Swisscom, they are the best, I will never try any service again.

    • The whole idea of these offers is to get you used to the more expensive service so that you stay there if you don’t take action.

To remember, the simplest method is to put a note in your own calendar instead of relying on a promised SMS/Email from someone who will not be impacted if the notification is not sent. The only real notification is the price change on the invoice!

Once the délai of a year has passed, you can easily return to Internet S using My Swisscom.

Choose Adapt product in the Internet section.

    Hello @Froldeuckutt79,

I’m sorry for what happened to you.

Should we blame Swisscom for forgetting to send the SMS and email?

Or the Swisscom employee who would have said anything to get you to accept a subscription in order to pocket a commission?

I couldn’t say. But something went wrong. And I regret it for you.

Good if you stay with Swisscom and I hope you continue to be satisfied with it.

    Good evening everyone,

Thank you for your answers, I have reset my options and subscription to the way it was before the “free” trial.

I take the incident personally, it will serve as a lesson to me and therefore I will never again contract something with an oral agreement from a seller. Also, suddenly all Swisscom ads go straight into the trash.

Thank you again for your answers and explanations, on my side the incident is closed.

I will nevertheless try a little chat with one of their chat-bots, I will be able to let loose and that will perhaps relax me 🙂

I don’t dare say goodbye or see you soon because that would mean another trick…

Take good care of yourself, do your best to be kind to those around you.
