Good afternoon everyone

What do I get if I don’t like any of the suggested benefits?

Only the displayed discounts are available for purchase.

But there is another variant if you make a phone call and ask what kind of offer Swisscom will make you if you extend your contract by two years.

Nothing or how do you imagine it? Then you just have to check every now and then to see if there is anything else. The benefits don’t always stay the same but change from time to time.

So what’s the point of “shit” then?

- I already have a cell phone

- I have a television

- I don’t go to the cinema or to the football match

- I’m not into any gadgets, I already have what I need.

Isn’t it possible to get a discount on one of my subscriptions, or is Swisscom saving money for those who don’t need the benefits offers? Or do they consciously make offers that no one needs?

I wrote above what else can be done.

N.B. please rule of conduct e.g. Adhere to the expressions in the community, the community is not Swisscom support but rather "customers helping customers.

There is definitely a discount on a cell phone subscription if you then extend your contract. But it always depends, there is no entitlement. This can be done via the hotline. But please remember… like calling into the forest. If you talk like that aggressively and in this case completely for no reason, you might as well forget that they are accommodating you or giving you a discount, just for your information!

If I have gotten too close to someone, I would like to sincerely apologize.

I’m just wondering whether this is the right way if I have to present my concerns to customer service every time in order to benefit from a discount, or whether it wouldn’t make sense to be able to select this directly as an option.

@Deujiro12 I can understand that, but we in this customer help customer forum can’t do anything, we just have no influence on it. I also wrote in the French-language forum that in order to redeem the cinema voucher (even if entry was free), I would pay three times as much to take the train to the nearest Blue Cinema cinema as if I went to the cinema in my town. That’s just how benefits are structured, we have discounts on fitness subscriptions as “benefits” in the business. If I don’t use them, I won’t get paid more.

So I researched a few of the so-called “preferential prices” for the highly valued regular customers. For ALL the items I checked I found cheaper prices at Digitec and Co.!

It should be normal that you always check beforehand whether it is cheaper somewhere else.

You can also see this with Apple accessories, where you can sometimes get them a lot cheaper in other places than in the Apple Shop.

But it takes a lot of Swisscom brainwashing to seriously defend such a deception.

Where is the “benefit” for regular customers if these preferential prices are higher than those of ordinary mail order companies?
