I don’t care. My TV is made for watching TV, not for anything else.
Hi Luginnal58
Welcome to the customer forum.
Ah, I see the concept! Your TV is like a toaster: no question of it making croque-monsieur, just toasty toast. After all, why explore the world of smart TV when you can enjoy reruns of Derrick? Everyone has their own priorities!” 😄
Doremi, a customer like you.
Hello, dear friends.
With all the complaints from dissatisfied Swisscom customers, I am not ready to change boxes, I am looking to migrate to another operator.
Sorry, I’ve been a customer for many years, but the cup is full.
Is it AI causing the mess, via Google? I had a Swisscom Google AI watch, it was a mess, although it cost more than CHF 300.- I wasted it.
Question, what do you want to impose on us AI or and Google?
Robert

Hi Deufliommei19
-“I am not ready to change boxes, I am looking to migrate with another operator.”-
Can you tell me where it says you need to change your TV box? As mentioned several times on this forum, it is not necessary to use the Google Store. Is it hard to understand?

It’s funny, but it should also be noted that 99% of the other operators are also under Google. So in the future you may have to consider going without television.

for the remote try the following:
First remove the batteries from the remote control. Press the OK button for 5 seconds. Insert the batteries back into their compartment and check.
If this does not resolve the issue, follow these steps:
Press buttons 1 and 3 simultaneously for 3 seconds (the LED on the remote control lights up red) to disconnect the TV box (Swisscom Box). Then restart the TV box (Swisscom Box) and check if the remote control can be connected.
Questions:
Are the batteries new or more than 15% charged?
Does the LED on the remote control light up?
If the LED on the remote control does not light up, even with new batteries, you must call the Hotline or go to the store (Swisscom Shop) to have the remote control replaced.

Please stop talking to your customers on familiar terms. We didn’t keep the v.c.e.s together!
Hello Pannireu47
Hello, I completely understand your point of view. Just to let you know that we are on a forum where, as is often the case, familiarity is the norm to encourage a friendly exchange between all participants. If this makes you uncomfortable, we will try to be careful in the future. Thank you for your understanding and we look forward to discussing with you!

here is a response from @Doremi to the questions raised:
Hello… Even if you watch little television, there is no way to refuse the update. In reality, it is possible to refuse it, but the problem is that this will result in loss of access to TV channels. For information, all operators use Google’s Android system, and Swisscom has been working with the open source Google OS for years. There is therefore no other choice than to accept the new conditions. However, it is not necessary to register in the Google Play Store, as the basic Swisscom applications remain available as before! Kind regards Doremi

You are confusing the practice of forums bringing together a community around a passion, a common intérêt, political ideas etc… Here we come to the forum organized by a commercial company, because as not everything works like on roulettes, we need to share tips and experiences. In this context, informality is difficult, we are not friends, we are customers.
As Desproges said: one liver, two kidneys, three reasons to use the bayonet.
In this case:
- mail became paid
- GAFA in the box
- informality
If you’re not satisfied, you might as well pay less.
