@Chnorz

You need [something](https://www.swisscom.ch/de/privatkunden/produkte/tv/details.html/sctv2-0-uhd-extension-kit-10240233?stch=plp&ing=ptl-device-first&simplyDigital=true&journey= device-first&contractDuration=24&payOption=ONE_TIME&useCase=HARDWAREONLY). Depending on the TV-Box, possibly also the old version with USB-Anschluss instead of a jack. You can probably find them at Ricardo and co.

I’ve been using this myself for years with an Ultimate.

Swisscom TV and Harmony Ultimate via Bluetooth doesn’t work.

@Chnorz The Logitech hub receives the commands from the associated remote control, and then sends the commands via infrared signals to the infrared dongle on the Swisscom box** (and also to the IR receiver on the TV for on/off, mute and volume). Apparently you figured that out too. You now have to program the hub so that it sends the appropriate infrared commands to the TV-Box. See also this article. m-p/616915#M67995)… and there too >continue above.

If you don’t yet have a Swisscom IR dongle, then buy an IR dongle with a USB plug that fits all TV boxes. See [>this post.](https://community.swisscom.ch/t5/Nutzung-mit-TV-Box/Universal-Fernbedienung-f%C3%BCr-Swisscom-TV-mit-grossen-Tasten/m-p/674231 #M56947)

If there is no line of sight from the hub to the dongle on the TV-Box or to the TV, then you need the Harmony Hub IR dongles, which are then plugged into the hub, and the infrared signal from the hub is closer to the dongle on the box and/or to the Bring TV. See this article /616917#M67996)

An infrared – Bluetooth converter is not possible. You have probably noticed that you have to register the Bluetooth remote control of the TV-Box with the TV-Box, for example when reinstalling it. Your remote control is then permanently connected to your TV-Box in duplex mode; you can also see feedback from the TV-Box on the remote control via an LED light. The Bluetooth connection is therefore fixed and is not accessible to other signal sources. It’s not necessary because you can alternatively control the TV-Box via the infrared dongle.

Hello everyone

As recommended in the posts above, I got the IR kit VA SCTV2.0 UHD extension kit with jack from Swisscom. I was able to connect this to the Swisscom box IP1400 without any problems and also restarted the box. I soon tried out countless settings on MyHarmony with the Elite, but I still can’t turn on the Swisscom box. To watch TV I always have to turn on the Swisscom BA!

I was also able to borrow a Harmony Ultimate One for testing. Even with this I can’t get the TV-Box to switch on. It’s despairing!

Hi @Chnorz

which device did you choose for the STB? As I recall, there are several. I’ve been using [Swisscom-TV2.0] “for years” and so far it’s worked without any problems with every small TV-Box von Swisscom (HD, UHD, then the one with the built-in speaker and also with the current 21 box).

Hello Katho

I have the Swisscom Box IP1400. The IP 1400 is recognized in the Harmony settings, I’ve already tried it with TV2.0. The Bluetooth signal from the Harmony is not recognized by the sensor.

@Chnorz I can only confirm what @kaetho wrote:
ONLY “Swisscom-TV2” is the correct selection for the MyHarmony settings.
Please also read what I said about it [>here in article 15](https://community.swisscom.ch/t5/Archiv-Swisscom-blue-TV/Harmony-Logi-HUB-und-neuer-Swisscom-BOX- IP2000 voice control/m-p/616915#M67995).

And yes, it ONLY works with infrared signals:
The Logitech hub receives the commands from the associated remote control, and then sends the commands via infrared signals **to the infrared dongle on the Swisscom box.
**You must program the Logitech remote control (hub) so that the appropriate infrared commands are sent from the hub to the TV-Box.

@Chnorz You wrote: “… I still can’t switch on the Swisscom box…”. Does that mean that the other commands (for example for the numbers 0 to 9) work without problems? Can you confirm that?

With the original Bluetooth remote control from Swisscom I can switch the TV-Box on and off using the on/off button at the top right. If the Swisscom TV-Box is switched off, then I can also switch on this TV-Box by pressing a (number) key.

I also tested this function successfully with a universal remote control OneForAll URC 2981. I programmed this remote control by entering the code once so that when the buttons are pressed, an infrared command is sent that is compliant with Swisscom-TV2.0. The infrared commands from the OneForAll remote control control the Swisscom TV-Box via the IR dongle.
If the Swisscom TV-Box was previously TURNED OFF, then I can press one of the number buttons (0 to 9) on the OneForAll remote control and that alone will turn the TV-Box on!

@Chnorz Can you understand this after your Logitech FB has been programmed for Swisscom-TV2.0: If the Swisscom TV-Box was previously switched off, you can then just activate a (number) command TV-Box switch on?

I’ve used various Logitech remote controls, but the last time was a few years ago. I remember that the following was possible:
I was able to select all system components that were previously integrated into the Logitech control as individual “devices” at any time on the Logitech remote control and then control the assigned commands individually.

@Chnorz Can you select the Swisscom TV-Box as a single device on the Logitech remote control and then activate specific device commands to the TV-Box? Do these direct device commands work? Does the direct on/off command work as a device command?

I can’t confirm this, at least for Box 21.

I have made the following settings:

Manufacturer: Swisscom

Model: IP-1800

and that works perfectly.

@Stephan_76 Thanks for the report. I think that since the introduction of the automatic detection mentioned in post #9, all variants of the Swisscom box have now been given a separate name. As already mentioned in post #8, all Swisscom boxes are controlled by the same set of infrared commands. What is obviously relevant is that the name contains the term Swisscom.
