Advertising on Replay with blue TV from 4 October 2022

The Replay function revolutionized television. Today commercial breaks are usually skipped. But this habit has led to financial losses for TV channels. To maintain the Replay function, the television industry has agreed on a new common tariff (TC12) and new advertising formats in time-shifted viewing (Replay advertising).
Advertising on Replay from October
From 4 October 2022 all national and regional television broadcasters such as Swisscom or Sunrise will have to apply this new agreement. Initially, advertising on Replay will only be broadcast on 19 TV channels.
For the moment, you only see ads with a TV-Box from Swisscom, and from mid-November onwards on all devices (smartphones, tablets, computers, laptops, Smart TVs).
Avoid advertising on Replay
To still make the use of blue TV pleasant despite the advertising on Replay, Swisscom offers the **[Replay Comfort] option (https://www.swisscom.ch/myswisscom/d?useCase=viewTvHub) at CHF 6.90/month for ** blue TV M, L and X. This offer allows you to watch the 19 TV channels with Replay without advertising. Furthermore, you continue to be able to skip advertising in recordings or in Replay TV and with one click you can watch up to 80 channels in time-shifted mode to resume viewing immediately after the end of the advertising block.
Don’t want to use the forward function but watch movies and TV shows without interruption? With blue Play you can watch the contents of famous media libraries for free and without advertising.
