Thank you for your response regarding Serafe, but I recently read that the RTS was strongly considering joining this movement.
So already the advertisements bother a large part of the population, if they put in place the same system I do not find this normal the whole intérêt on replay is precisely to avoid these unwanted advertisements and to zap them as when the we used a video recorder.
Moreover, at the time of VHS it was enough to enter a code and the recording would begin at the start of the film/series etc., the blue tells us that by paying extra the recordings would start without the ads so this is possible for a long time; but we do not have access to it and must schedule the recordings to be sure to have everything 5/10 minutes before and if late 30/1 hour after the end.
I find this a bit abusive…
Sincerely
Disagree with the reflection.
“What does Swisscom have to do with this?”
Not refusing the thing.
He could also, at the price it costs, include it in the current replay package which did not give, just like the price of the channels.
Small additional parenthesis. I find the number of German language channels discriminatory compared to other national languages for the same price.
Good morning,
I learned that Swisscom is banning TV Replay because of an agreement (for advertising that no one watches anyway)… that said, in fact there is a change in offer through a downgrade.
How do you adjust my contract price now? In fact until today I pay a subscription which allows me to skip these advertisements (which I never watch anyway and there is no question that I will pay more for something than I currently have in the price of my subscription); in a few days I will no longer be able to do so, which means that the quality of my subscription will drop, therefore if you are not able to honor the signed contract you will have to lower the price. How do you plan to act?
Thank you for your response
Greetings
Patrick Recordon
This is not a ban by Swisscom, all operators must introduce it, this only concerns 19 German-speaking private channels, French-speaking and Italian-speaking channels are not affected. For the channels, everything remains as before. If 19 channels don’t interest you, you don’t have to do anything, your subscription will not change.
The replay advertisement that arrives there lasts 1:30 min at the same time where there would be advertising (normally around 10 min) and an advertising spot at the beginning, however the broadcast begins at the precise moment. Those who don’t want it can add the Replay option, those who don’t want it don’t have to change anything.
From a legal point of view, this is not a breach of contract, because your contract contains precisely such clauses.

@Zummeipoz64 No change to your subscription, you must understand that the Replay option is not a change of subscription, but an additional option that you can choose if you want to skip the Replay advertising on the 19 German-speaking channels.

Bha, in principle whatever the company, at a given moment if the ad becomes bad…, the TV subscription will be sweet to only use TV via streaming or website.
Please note that there are several ways to get rid of ads.
Advertising has always been stupid, except in the 80’s when it was at least fun to watch.
When advertisers understand that the future is freedom of choice.
Being able to search for an ad when you want to buy a product.
Or promotional ads which are interesting.
And above all, stop forcing the sound volume which requires you to jump on the remote control each time to lower the sound. (which incidentally also makes you want to see what’s happening on other channels).
And some shows or soap operas are so bad that I don’t even watch them anymore.
long live music and painting…
I’m going to watch TV like young people do… via the Internet… and I’m thinking of canceling my traditional TV subscription in the medium term… this way of putting pressure is difficult to take.
With online games on phones, we’re starting to go pee during commercials, which I’m doing more and more for TV.
And SERAFE, removal of the fee…
Anyway, it’s shameful
Hello,
I was able to test last night on the German-speaking channels and despite the price to benefit from Replay without advertising, you can directly skip the advertising block with a simple touch (or directly by checking the “skip advertising in the options” box). and land right at the start of the program resumption. So no more messing around with the FF button on the remote control. It must be said that it is child’s play and enjoyable.
