iPhone 14 now available for pre-order

Dear community

Starting today you can buy the new iPhone models iPhone 14, iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max in our online shop pre-order. The iPhone 14 Plus will follow from October 7, 2022.

iphone14.pngApart from the better camera and selfie cam, the iPhone 14 remains similar to its predecessor. Instead of a mini, the “normal” iPhone 14 is now also available as a Plus with a large 6.7-inch display – with the best battery life of all iPhones.

The most visible change is in the Pro models: They have a new pill-shaped notch that adapts flexibly. Apple calls this a “Dynamic Island”: For example, if a call comes in, the notch enlarges to display it. The 14 Pro and Pro Max also have a brighter screen, the latest processor and a completely new camera system with 48 megapixels.

What do you think about the new iPhones? Which model do you like best and why? We look forward to your discussions!

You can find out more about ordering your new iPhone in our help area.

Best regards

That’s not good at all with the shop page, you can’t change subscriptions or subscriptions, it always shows the page at the bottom of the picture?

@WalterB this is normal. You can only make changes when it is your turn. Presumably the shop was changed for iPhone pre-orders. If you want to do something else, you’re probably out of luck for 1 hour or 1.5 hours.

I selected my device, made a 24-month payment and also selected my new subscription. Then it puts together my subscription and suddenly says I should pay the entire amount immediately. Is this a mistake or can you no longer pay in installments as usual?

@Cruncher

I wanted to show a user the possibilities for his mobile subscription via his Kundencenter and there is currently no chance.

So for the cat to visit the user to help him.

Happens to me too… It should actually still be possible to pay in installments.

I’ve tried again several times now. Now, after selecting your subscription, you get an error message saying that nothing can be ordered online at the moment…

The same thing happened to me. At first it showed the installment payment, then no longer. When it was completed, it initially didn’t show payment via Swisscom invoice. Then tried again. Now the order went through, but with a one-off payment. Well, it’s a shame. It should actually be possible to pay in installments

Same with me. Ordered in installments and suddenly it says “one-time Betrag”

I seem to remember that I had the same problem when ordering the iPhone 12.

I think there was an error in the system. This was corrected after calling the hotline

Hello everyone

There are currently problems with the iPhone 14 pre-order. An error message is displayed while ordering. Please repeat your pre-order at a later date. We are working on the solution and apologize for the disruption.

Our experts are informed that for some orders with installment payment, one-time payment will be displayed upon confirmation. As soon as we know more, we will update the message on the status page.

Greetings Samuel

  • hed likes that.

Same here (sorry I can’t speak German and the French forums are dead:p)! Stay strong!

I finally managed to get the order in (12 month contract):p… Hurray!

iPhone ordering from Swisscom: “Same procedure as every year” with all the challenges, errors, problems and consequences for the orderer that will come.

“Dinner for one” is at least still funny, I probably won’t keep track of what this thread will bring until the thousandth post is usually reached per model year…
