Since this morning I have the new Firefox version 129.0 under W10 (latest version) and sometimes watch the shows on the laptop. Since today’s update, I can no longer watch recorded programs with advertising (e.g. Tele5) - I get the error message above. In Firefox, I enabled playback of shows with DRM copy protection and enabled the Widevine Content Decryption Module under the plugins/add-ons (as Firefox recommends). Despite restarting the PC and browser it doesn’t work. However, viewing works on another browser (e.g. Norton Private Browser). Does anyone have an idea what else I could do so that I can continue to use Firefox?
Hello @Mewicki64
Have you already tried the following?
[Problems playing back videos with DRM copy protection](https://support.mozilla.org/de/kb/Video-oderAudiomodelle-koennen-nicht-abspiele- Werden#w_problems-with-the-playback-of-videos -with DRM copy protection)
Section: Problems playing videos with DRM copy protection
This can also help: turn off VPN and deactivate third-party security software, if available.

That’s definitely it for swisscom TV. Not enough that it’s already the most customer-hostile and most expensive TV offer in the browser. Since 25 January 2025, apparently not even Firefox is supported anymore. I just received information on Swisscom TV. Apparently only Chrome!
Adios and have fun with the state monopolist -
rbal Now it doesn’t even work with Chrome!
Hello @rbal and welcome to the Swisscom Community - Customers helping customers!
it must be assumed that the request concerns Swisscom blue TV Air, the article is old (17 May 2022), but Swisscom blue TV Air is functional
please specify whether you are using the free version (Swisscom blue TV Air free) or the pay version, see this page if in doubt

To solve the problem: delete the browser’s browsing data (cache, cookies, history) and restart the device.
rbal I just tried it with great reluctance, but it doesn’t work on Chrome either!
This is a refusal of service by Swisscom - I pay for a service and have not agreed that it can only be used to a limited extent. How they manage this legally is their problem - they shouldn’t do it on the back of the customer and in breach of contract millions of times over!
