inOne turns blue: The new subscriptions are here!

Dear community

blue is coming on May 23rd! This means that the Swisscom subscriptions are no longer called inOne, but blue - and they are structured according to the common S/M/L principle in all areas.

Better, easier, more attractive

With blue, subscriptions become simpler, but also more attractive. For example, with the new blue Mobile M (replaces inOne mobile go) you can use the mobile Internet 5x faster for the same price. And with blue Internet you can even surf with the M subscription at gigabit speed.

Some existing inOne and Swiss mobile subscriptions will be converted directly to blue, others will remain unchanged. You can see whether your subscription has changed in the subscription comparison on this page.

In addition, digitally savvy customers can from May 23rd. Benefit from Simply Digital: a monthly discount for everyone who always wants to resolve their concerns online first in the future. This discount can be combined with the inOne Family benefit, which is now called “blue benefit”.

News at blue TV

There are some changes in the TV area for the blue launch:

  • You can now order Apple TV 4K from us including a new remote control and use your blue TV subscription. > Find out more
  • If you want to use blue TV at your second home, you now no need an additional TV subscription. One internet subscription per residence plus the multi-room option for CHF 5/month. enough to access your blue TV at home.
  • Premium channels are no longer included in TV L, but are available as an option for CHF 9/month. can also be booked.
  • An update will be gradually rolled out on blue TV (TV-Box, blue TV App & Web) in the coming weeks. There are a few new features and general improvements waiting for you:
    • blue Music: Never miss a concert again and be part of every festival without getting your feet stuck in the mud.
    • blue Sport: You can see the latest games under “News” in the replay tape and can play highlights such as goals directly.
    • Binge-watching à la Netflix: For films and series, the next episode will now be played directly without you having to click.
    • A more accurate topic search, more precise start times for replay content and many smaller improvements make watching TV even more enjoyable.

Exciting new model. The discounts with SAM and the benefits in particular sound promising.

It’s a shame, however, that the youth discount, which Sunrise, for example, is currently heavily discussed. @ThomasS In our family, because of the relatively high subscription costs, we only have the home and my sister has the mobile (MVD) with Swisscom itself - she benefited from the youth discount, but if this no longer applies, she will still pay more? This is certainly the same for other customers. 😅

Does that mean that if the TV wants L as before, it will cost 9 CHF more? Or does TV L cost 9 CHF less and if you add Premium 20+, everything stays the same?

Addendum: I’ve seen it’s almost 4 CHF more, then I’ll cancel my Top Italiano + for 9 CHF, which is pretty thin anyway.

So I think the price for blue Mobile S is steep. 20.- more than inOne Basic, just for a little more speed (max 100 Mbit/s) and new 5G, but all roaming is eliminated. Momol Swisscom cha öppis. A very big step backwards.

I probably have to recommend that my father switch to blue L. He previously had inOne Go, Intercontinental Pack and Connect Pack as a discounted promo. But since calls to the USA are no longer necessary, blue L should be enough, right?

@whoever Agreed, the unlimited data is great. But for my mother, the inOne Basic is simply better. She hardly needs the mobile internet.

I would have set up the subscriptions differently.

The old basic is now blue S, and the planned blue S as blue Swiss flat.

That’s true, but specifically in my sister’s case, she currently pays 60.- and would pay 69.90.- with the new subscription. This clearly shows that when such amounts are reduced, you are usually aiming for an entire family.

Excitingly, the whole family would save around CHF 26.10 (4 pax + home) with us. A Netflix subscription is good now and can be financed with it, but it is rather suboptimal for individuals.

@CorinneA the discounts are actually valid for “lifetime” (or probably until the next renaming of the model - maybe CSX Mobile 😉?). At the moment I’m still living at home due to my training - but if I move out would that mean that all discounts (apart from the self-help discount) will no longer apply? Or could you use the system here like with the second home/holiday apartment (+5.-)? 😉

You’re right, but maybe customers actually fall for it… I mean, many people may not be aware that Wingo, MBud or Coop are direct brands of SC - the same with Sunrise and Salt. But sure, it makes a very cheap impression in contrast to the other providers - but hey! -.10 saved. (That used to be half the kiosk 😉 )
