  • Hello everyone,

    Has anyone already connected the Internet Booster 5G?

    How are your experiences?

    Greeting

    • @wolewo: Update zum “Unterbruch”, den Du hattest: Unsere Spezialisten haben genau zur der Zeit ein paar Tunings vorgenommen und darum bei Dir für ca. 1h das Bonding deaktiviert. Also alles gut, hat nichts mit der Zuverlässigkeit zu tun 🙂 Noch besser wäre natürlich eine Info im Router dazu gewesen, aber da der Booster eingekauft wird ist diese Integration von Meldungen nicht möglich.

      For me it was displayed in Kundencenter. Of course I couldn’t resist and ordered it. It doesn’t do much for me. Might have to be closer to the 5G antenna.

      The upload is better with Booster, but I’m disappointed with the download. The ping is also worse with booster. Even with the booster you can no longer use IPV6. This is probably due to the mobile network…

        @wolewo

        It would be interesting to see how much 5G mobile reception there is?

        I bought a 5G mobile router myself and the performance drops extremely sharply when reception is poor.

        Installationen, Netzwerk, Internet, Computertechnik, OS Windows, Apple und Linux.

        The reception values are better than mine, but I don’t know the details. Since the 5G Booster has not been officially launched yet, it may well be that they are still tuning it. I passed it on to my colleague.

        PS: Your DSL line has been stabilized because you often have a spontaneous resync once a day. Can you explain that? Important: Always turn off the router first with the switch before, for example, unplugging the DSL cable or doing anything else on the line.

        I can’t explain. Only yesterday I restarted the router when I installed the booster.

        We have to observe that a few mbps are lost due to stabilization.

        Update: The speed change has not yet recalculated the new speed for the booster. He still assumes 100mbps in the DS, so only 10mbps plus. This will correct itself 🙂

        Ev. Disconnect the booster from the power. Please just let it run over the weekend and the specialists will take a look at it on Monday.

        Top 🙂

        Something else works with the UL and I would test the ping with the CNLAB desktop tool. The curve looks a bit strange, but it also gives a better picture of the home network.

        Have fun
