blue TV app: finally on Apple TV too

The blue TV app is now also available on Apple TV.

After Samsung, LG, Quickline and Wingo TV, Apple is the fifth manufacturer to offer the blue TV experience without Swisscom Box. The blue TV app is available on the Apple TV BOX generation 2015, 2017 and 2021. > To Apple device overview

Attention: The blue TV app for Apple TV does not support in-app purchases or rentals on Apple TV. However, you can watch content rented or purchased on https://tv.blue.ch or on Swisscom Box on an Apple TV.

inOne home customers with a Swisscom blue TV subscription must subscribe to the use of a second television at the price of CHF 5.– to be able to benefit from the app on the Apple TV. It is thus possible to directly access the list of personal channels, recordings, purchases or rented videos.

Non-Swisscom customers can of course also use the application. They create a Swisscom login and can choose between free or paid subscription to blue TV Air. > to offers

Moreover, the app is now also available on the Net+ decoder. So there are 6 manufacturers that support blue TV. You will find more information on netplus.ch

Consult our help page to find out how to access the app.

We wish you good entertainment!

So if I understand correctly, those who already pay for swisscom have to checkout again and others can access it for free. Is that what you mean?

Sorry for asking, but is this a joke?

Do you not care about your customers, or what is it like at Swisscom?

Show original language (French)

Yes, I would like to have the free offer for the Apple TV application, just like someone who is not a customer with the restrictions of the free application and keep the TV box on my main TV.

I can’t do this, are we at a disadvantage as loyal customers for many years?

Show original language (French)

I would also like to do this but to my knowledge it is not possible given that the Swisscom Login is linked to your address and that you can only have one login per address…(unless I am wrong) .

Show original language (French)

This is not even the question, but a simple respect, we do not offer a free option to someone who has no connection with the company while we do not offer it to people who have already paid several ten thousand francs to this company,

It’s just organized theft and a lack of respect that I can’t even describe

Hello everyone,

For inOne home customers, the principle remains the same as on another medium such as Smart TVs.

The first Stream always belongs to you through your TV-Box. If you then want to watch blue TV on another device, you can benefit from another stream for 5.- CHF and you gain access to your channel lists and recordings. As for the additional device, it is up to you to choose TV-Box or an OTT device (Smart TV or Apple TV).

Existing as well as new customers can also create a separate login on Smart TV, Apple TV or smartphones/tablets and use Blue TV Air for free (or with subscription). However, you then have a narrower range of functions than with the inOne subscription and you also do not have the possibility of accessing the channel lists/recordings that you already have at home on the Box.

Best regards

Thank you for your response, but unfortunately I cannot create a separate login, because it tells me that my email address already exists and I am not able to create a second address unfortunately.

What should I do in this case? Will I be penalized because I am a loyal customer or will you find a solution, because, as you say so well, the customer is at the heart of your concerns?

Please respond to me quickly.

You can also respond to me directly privately if you wish.

@YariB I specify that in no case did I request a second stream, I am alone and when I am not going to have fun watching TV in two places at the same time, when a device is turned on, the other will be automatically turned off,

Don’t make me say what I didn’t say.

But I don’t want to have to go through this step, I consider that I don’t have to be discriminated against because I’m already a customer.

A non-customer will not have to do it, I consider that I should not have to do it either.

Please find me another solution.

In this case, the solution is very simple: drop the Blue Tv app and continue using your Swisscom Tv box. This way you won’t have to follow the other advice we give you!

There are really people who like to chase after the little beast and annoy everyone.

Cordialement, Prelude

Note that for customers who already have a 2nd TV box in service (so already pay 5fr per month for this box) they pay nothing more for access to blue TV via Apple TV or a Smart TV

At home I have 2 Swisscom boxes in service + the blue application on the Apple TV and all 3 work correctly at the same time.

My TV product:

I have blue TV X at 50.- + 5.- for the 2nd Swisscom box which comes to me at 55.- per month.
