The radio on the TV is interrupted

  • When I switch from TV to radio, it shows the channels. When you tap on a radio station, its music will play for a short time. But shortly afterwards the message pops up saying that the radio broadcast will be stopped and that I should try again later. And this has been going on for a few days!!!

    What’s going on here??

    @Fruragutz21 Yes, I noticed that, interestingly enough, this doesn’t happen when I go to the radio using the home button. Everything works normally @UrsSch could I please take a look at it.

    Strangely enough, 5 minutes later it works again with the radio button, what about you @Fruragutz21?

    Still doesn’t work for me. After switching to the radio, regardless of the station, the message about the switch-off appears after a short time and the advice to try later?! (must be confirmed with OK in each case).

    I came across an older thread today… it’s still relevant.

    For a few days I needed a radio on Swisscom TV in a holiday apartment. Several interruptions every day.

    Now I’m using the old FM radio again…

    I don’t expect help with something that can’t be helped.

    Greetings Martin

    @Maschwi What does currently mean, the problem was solved back then. I assume you’re listening via TV-Box, how is the box connected (Lan, WiFi), do the interruptions occur on all channels or just on a specific one? Have you already restarted or reset the box and router?

    The TV box is connected via WiFi. But since it’s a holiday apartment that I’m renting, I don’t have access to the Internet box, so I’d need that for a reset to reconnect the TV box later.

    So I won’t do anything. TV reception is running.
    Swisscom TV with a second box in a rented holiday apartment is not ideal in my opinion.

    Greetings

    I haven’t done a reset for a while now, but I can’t remember having to enter access data. That’s authenticated via Anschluss, isn’t it?

    Or is it possible via an app from another provider?

    @Stauldoteiy82

    After a factory reset of the TV-Box, you don’t have to re-register for normal TV and radio operation of the box, just re-pair the remote control. The situation is different with various apps on the TV-Box where you have to log in again depending on the app.

    Not at all, I can’t go into his apartment where the IB is…

    The Internet box does not need to be used to pair the remote control with the TV-Box.

    The Internet box is needed if the TV-Box is connected via WLAN and you have to reconnect it.

    @roku73 @WalterB

    Since @Maschwi operates the TV-Box via WLAN, he must have access to the router after a factory reset of the TV-Box in order to re-pair the WLAN. And that’s exactly why he needs the landlord.

    @Maschwi

    I advise you to connect the TV-Box to the IB via Gigabit Ethernet. This means you are less dependent on the landlord and there are also far fewer technical problems.
