Blue Now: Difference between BlueMax and BlueMovie

  • I had subscribed to Teleclub and Teleclub sports. Swisscom has now introduced BlueTV and my subscription is now called Blue Sport for 12.90 per month and Blue Movie for 29.90 per month. I could and can also use Teleclub Now or Blue Now.

Now I saw that there is a BlueMax. Also streaming with films (analogue Blue Now) and certain channels like Blue Prime (was TC Cinema), etc. I called the hotline and wanted to find out the exact difference between BlueMax and BlueMovie. The first consultant tells me there is no difference, BlueMax is simply CHF 10 cheaper per month. I ask and want to know whether TC Now or BlueNow is included in the BlueMax subscription. The first advisor gives up. She has never heard of TC Now or BlueNow.

The second advisor arrives. The explanation on the internet is clear. There are BluePrime, BlueStars and BlueAction, another 11 channels. Of note, there are 11 channels in total and not in addition to the three (Prime, Stars and Action). I ask and want to know what you can stream if the description mentions streaming. Can you also watch BlueNow films on BlueMax via streaming? After waiting ten minutes, the lady tells me that if I want BlueNow, I should keep my current subscription and hangs up.

Now here is my last attempt. In the confusion between Swisscom subscriptions and channel packages, even the employees on the hotline apparently no longer have any insight. What do I lose or do I lose anything at all if I switch from BlueMovie (this subscription is no longer available at the moment; it is the old Teleclub subscription) to BlueMax? Is BlueNow (formerly Teleclub now) still somehow available at BlueMax or not. If not, will new films even be released if only “old” subscribers still have BlueNow?

Thank you in advance for your help.

    • Hello @bigg1503

Then I’ll try to shed some light into the darkness. I know, it’s complicated. 🙄

Now is/was part of the old subscriptions (Teleclub or today blue Movie), but not a separate offer or package. Now only those who still use the old Teleclub subscriptions, which were simply renamed from Teleclub xy to blue xy, still have it.

In addition to the 11 channels, blue Max has also integrated a streaming portal (à la Netflix), where you can find films and series on Home under blue+ and watch them regardless of the current TV program. Therefore, Now has become superfluous and is no longer part of blue+.

      Is that understandable to you?

How @whoever writes correctly, you can find [here is an overview](https://community.swisscom.ch/t5/Sender-contente/blue-Noch-mehr-Unterstellung-alles-unter-einem- Dach/m-p/632975#M7946), which compares the old PayTV subscriptions with the new ones.

      Kind regards, MiriamF

I assume that Blue Now doesn’t actually exist - at least that’s how I understand it here: [/t5/Sender-contente/Blue-Now/td-p/632288](https://community.swisscom.ch/ t5/channel content/Blue-Now/td-p/632288)

There is also a link directly to a comparison (i.e. this one: [/t5/Sender-content/blue-Noch-mehr-Enterierung-alles-unter-einem-Roof/m-p/632975#M7946](https://community.swisscom.ch/t5/Sender-contente/blue-Noch -more-entertainment-all-under-one-roof/m-p/632975#M7946))
