That depends on which subscription you have:
inOne home incl. blue TV subscription
You can use up to 5 TV boxes per household. Any combination of TV boxes (Swisscom Box, UHD and HD) are possible. You can also use Swisscom blue TV as an app on other devices (e.g. television, smartphone) - the entire offer is also available on the app.
blue TV Air
If you have chosen blue TV Air as a paid subscription for on the go, you can watch TV on two devices at the same time - the offer is also fully available here. With the free version “blue TV Air free” it can only be used with one device. Users of blue TV Air free also see advertising clips before a program plays. This is necessary in order to be able to offer a cost-covering free product. As a inOne home customer or with the paid TV Air subscription, you will not see any advertising clips.
Subscription to third-party providers
If you have a TV subscription from a third-party provider, you can use the blue TV app on your TV-Box. This gives you the opportunity to access blue+ (formerly Teleclub) content with a single device.
Tomorrow you will find relevant help pages and adapted community articles on this topic. So it’s worth browsing here again tomorrow and on swisscom.ch.
Kind regards, Miriam
@MiriamF, thank you very much for the prompt information. In my case, I could do without the second box because I am a inOne Home customer and my second television supports the app. 😎👍 I’ll definitely take a look here again tomorrow and read the further information…
Great and brave move, Swisscom!
Greetings and thank you,
Martin
