Is it correct that the Bluesport subscription from Swisscom and the new bluesport channel connected via Skyapp require 2 different subscriptions? I don’t understand that, they are the same channels/subscription

For understanding:

If you subscribe to Blue Sport directly from Swisscom, you can use this on the box (if available) as well as on the app (smartphone / smart TV) or the website. A detour via Sky is therefore not necessary.

This subscription is linked to the Swisscom login and therefore to a Swisscom account. Since this doesn’t work with Swisscom Login on Sky, it’s not the same. In other words, the two subscriptions “do not know” each other.

@ThomasS I see it differently. According to the Sky Sport subscription page, you can only subscribe to blue Sport. Without compulsory basic subscription,

Actually, you’re right. I was misinformed.

I have adjusted my post above. Thanks for the correction.

Short and simple yes.

- If you subscribe to blue via Swisscom, it doesn’t work in the SKY app

- If you subscribe to blue via SKY, it doesn’t work via the Blue app and not via the Swisscom Box

This probably cannot be solved any other way for security reasons. For example, I don’t want to log in to Sky with the Swisscom login.

The alternative, of course, is that you subscribe to Blue via SKY and use the SKY Stick, Chromecast or an Apple TV on your TV. However, the number of simultaneous streams is limited. This means a maximum of 2 streams at the same time, but both devices must be on the same network. For example, if you only need one stream, or 2 streams and only at home, this would be a solution. However, I find classic zapping with the Swisscombox more convenient. You can simply switch back and forth between 2 games more quickly.

I think it’s an impudence on Swisscom’s part, first you promise that Maysport will switch on Swiss ice hockey at the beginning of the season, and then within 10 days who you ask, when you ask at Swisscom business it says on October 25, 20, and when you call the hotline Swisscom calls on October 20, 20. As a Swisscom customer, I feel really ripped off.

If you already know from Swisscom that those who can’t go to the stadium would also be happy to watch Swiss hockey at your club from home.

But apparently Swisscom doesn’t care what the Swisscom customer thinks. The main thing is that he pays the bill at the end of the month.

The whole thing is messy! I would say that calls for compensation!

You really can’t treat customers like that.. no wonder there are currently customers.. If I had to pay I would be gone too.

Wife pays Swisscom TV and I pay Sky satellite and TV app. I am at peace with the product I pay for!

I also notice more and more how my wife is becoming dissatisfied with the whole thing…

Well, we already have options.

Dear Roland9, dear Giezeded13

We are aware that the situation regarding the activation of MySports is not optimal, Community Manager ThomasS has already commented on this](https://community.swisscom.ch/t5/Sender-contente/Endlich-wieder-Eishockey- on-Swisscom-TV/m-p/633635#M8061). The statement “As soon as we can name a launch date, we will of course do so.” is still relevant. In other words, we’ll keep you updated here. The hotline employees cannot give you an appointment earlier than we can here.

In general, we value feedback in this community, both positive and critical. Nevertheless, the sound makes the music, so I would like to point out to you that constant repetitions of the same statement in this tonality are not constructive or effective and I ask you to use the respectful tone as in the Rules of conduct must be adhered to.

Best regards

Then you don’t have to go to the press conference that was announced so much that everything should be signed and watertight if it’s not true

Dear Community Manager!

As a Swisscom customer, I recently became interested in purchasing or activating my Sports. However, neither anyone on the hotline nor in the Swisscom shop knew about the planned activation in the 3rd quarter of 2020. What went wrong? Simply putting a marketing flyer online is probably not enough; you would also have to inform employees about the procedure at the same time. However, as I learned, this app is still not available and will be launched, God willing, on October 22nd, 2020. It can only be hoped that the Swisscom subscriber not only lives on hope but also that what was promised will soon be offered before the ice hockey season is over. Or was UPC able to prevent this approach?

Sporty greetings

I’m right with you, except that the Swisscom hotline and shop employees didn’t know anything about the 3rd quarter. On the one hand, it could be a Swisscom defect, but you and I and many other people who don’t work at Swisscom have this article with the 3rd quarter read, so I’m wondering why Swisscom employees couldn’t read this in the press?

Dear Community Manager:

Well, various official things were communicated to Swisscom in advance (since summer).

Among other things, that you can receive and watch the Swiss ice hockey league from the third quarter or that you “won’t miss a game”.

The only question now is when this will apply. from the 2021 playoffs?!

On the hotline you get information that either the technology is to blame, it will happen in the next few days, it will be possible from the end of the month, you have no idea when, maybe, maybe, etc. etc.

And swisscom is actually surprised that the customer is/is getting more than angry.

To date there is no further, reliable information as to when it will actually be visible.

not to mention an apology from swisscom.

People continue to keep quiet about ice hockey and sweep it under the carpet and advertise the good mood with the perfect blue TV; which ice hockey fans no longer really have.

If that’s how work was done in my clinic…my goodness…then goodnight…

My statement is not disrespectful, just direct and honest and when I hear about dismissals among friends then it is only what I notice and communicate here and not an insult.

Sky has never given me any problems in the last 6 years and I can mention that.

We all pay for the subscriptions and what we as customers want and expect from Swisscom is simply honesty.

I can live without MySport, but I think it’s a real shame to promise customers something that you as an operator can’t keep.
