My Swisscom App (iOS): Combox does not appear under "Other products"

  • As is well known, a Combox can be entered in the Swisscom Kundencenter so that it can be managed under “Other services”.

Unfortunately, under My Swisscom App (iOS), this recorded Combox does not appear under “Advanced Services”, but has to be fetched indirectly (so to speak) via the built-in browser by laboriously navigating through the menu. That’s too bad…

    For illustrative purposes: Screenshots:

Upper screenshot: Kundencenter via browser on the PC

Bottom screenshot: My Swisscom App via iPhone, where the Combox is missing.

Can others confirm this? Did I miss something? Is there a trick? Or is it programming negligence in the app?

    • Thank you for the tip.

I’m not concerned with activating forwarding etc., but with the “settings” of the Combox itself (setting announcements etc.). These can be captured precisely for this purpose.

On the PC via browser you can get directly to the “Settings” of the Combox using the link missing on the My Swisscom App. There you can e.g. B. select the announcements etc.

As I said, you can also get there via My Swisscom App. However, you have to go through the following menus:

Products - Telephony (000 000 00 00) - Stay reachable - Manage COMBOX - (a window now opens that accesses the Kundencenter via browser) - “Menu” at the top right - Kundencenter - (the missing button now appears at the bottom) - 000 000 00 00 COMBOX - Voila!

I personally think it’s user-friendly, but that seems to be a matter of opinion - and is it an exaggeration? That’s why I’m asking!…

I suspect that the reference to the “Other products” to the Combox was forgotten in the app - or there is simply an error.

I can live with it and thank you for the help.

So you can exaggerate a bit…

The Combox can be easily viewed via the phone number. You click on the phone number (e.g. 000 000 00 00) then you can select “COMBOX & call forwarding” in the list. You’re already there.

I see the logic in this: if you have several phone numbers, the Combox might be displayed a bit strangely. However, if you click on the number, you will know which Combox is current for which phone number.

    Hello @asdfjqwera193

Thank you for your valuable feedback and the screenshots. I agree with you. The experience is not yet ideal. We are currently working on implementing a solution. If everything goes well, the Combox should also be accessible in the app at the beginning of June. So I have to ask you for a little patience. 🙂

    Many kind regards
