Cloud Gaming auf blue TV

Cloud gaming on blue TV

Blue TV is expanding its range of gaming offers on TV-Box. Blacknut offers a catalogue of exciting games to play with a remote control, PC keyboard or your own controller.

Netflix for gaming is here: following Steam Link for your PC games, there’s Blacknut with over 250 games for you to enjoy. The cloud gaming provider’s app is available in the TV-Box app store under “Gaming”. Open the app, register and immerse yourself in the Blacknut gaming world.

Cloud gaming with Blacknut on your blue TV

To enjoy the full gaming experience, you will need a Swisscom TV-Box and an internet bandwidth of at least 6 Mbit/s. In addition, we recommend connecting the TV-Box to the router with the network cable (not via WLAN). Blacknut games are available in German, French and English. You will find all the game options on the detail page of each game. For example, you can see with which devices the game can be played (controller, keyboard, mouse and/or remote control) and whether it is a single or multiplayer game.

How to connect your controller to the TV-Box

You can play Blacknut games on the TV Box with standard controllers or with a mouse and keyboard.

You can connect your controller to the ‘TV Box 5’, the ‘Swisscom Box’ and the ‘Swisscom Box 21’ via USB cable/dongle or via Bluetooth. You can access Bluetooth pairing via Home button > Settings > System > Google Settings > Remote controls & accessories.

With the ‘TV Box (UHD)’ you can only connect your controller via USB cable/dongle; a connection via Bluetooth is not possible with these boxes.

@Dom I used a Logitech F710 with both the UHD box and the newer one with speakers and microphone.

It works via a USB dongle which is connected to the TV box. The dongle connection to the gamepad is then wireless.

P.S. With one USB hub, several can be connected so that two or more people can play.

Hello everyone

Do you need the TV box if you only want to play games on the go with your tablet?

And what about stability? For example, Xbox on a tablet on the go only has stuttering. Even though I have 5G

Hello @Thijumpi62, Blacknut is not a Swisscom offering. Our TV box is just a client on which you can use Blacknut. You can also simply install the Blacknut app on your tablet and log in there. You don’t need a TV box for this. Unfortunately I can’t answer the question about stability, you’ll have to try it out 😊 Kind regards, Raphael
