Hello Chris

There are a few people here in the forum who work at Swisscom.

But you now also write that you have interruptions in replay mode.

So you have two little blemishes with you.

Secondly, for the underbridge, you can put your connection data from the router online, which you can find in the Modiöus expert.

And how is the TV box connected to the router, etc.

And to display the clip you either have to call or hope that someone from Swisscom writes to you so that you can then give them your details, but then only via PM.

Because of CLIP, I’m hoping for Swisscom.

I’ve seen others in this community having this problem since October 2018. Probably a firmware problem.

Because of replay, the TV-Box is right next to the router and is connected to a new LAN cable. It doesn’t get any better. I don’t think that’s the problem, but rather with Swisscom, because my neighbor also has this from time to time.

Here is some more data, but everything is ok. According to this, while the TV is on and I’m connected to the network (it doesn’t even get warm 🙂

joker 🙂

Yes you are right. But Beromünster works. 😉

I have the Swisscombox2 and a fixed and mobile telephone on the ground floor. Still connected via telephone system. I could connect/replace this via Dect or the fixed Anschluss of the box.

But what do I do on the second floor, where I have a WLAN-Box (connected via LAN cable). It’s great as a switch for other computers and WLAN, but it doesn’t have a Dect (repeater) from Swisscombox for other Dect phones. And there is no telephone that is connected directly to the LAN (or WLAN) and is then in the same internal telephone number range. Hence Beromünster-TVA. 😞

Or do you have a solution, then we should talk on the phone…… 😉

Greetings
Chr.S.

Unfortunately no.

CLIP doesn’t work. It’s not urgent, but it’s just a good feature that is now missing.

But the occasional jerking during replay is more annoying. And it’s really difficult. I’ll get in touch with Swisscom after Easter, but I don’t have much hope for the stupid call center questions…

I doubt the connection between the IB update and the lack of caller identification with number (CLIP) and name (CNIP). That’s why I connected an old Siemens analog telephone 5030 with CLIP and CNIP functions to one of the analog ports on the IB 2 for tests. Firmware versions: 10.01.42/10.01.50/01400

In preparation for my tests, I activated a factory reset of the IB 2, and I also deleted all address entries in the “Central Telephone Book” of the IB 2 according to post #9 >from the following Thread.

I also deleted all address entries in the telephone book of the Siemens telephone.

Here are the results of the tests:

A) Call from the CH network with a valid telephone number, subscriber WITHOUT an entry in the public telephone book (Local.ch). Display on the Siemens telephone: Correct phone number, plus the message “Not available”. This message is apparently the result of a status transfer; after switching the phone to French, the corresponding message is “Non available”.

B) Call from the CH network with a valid telephone number, subscriber WITH an entry in the public telephone book (Local.ch). Display on the Siemens telephone: Correct phone number, plus the CNIP entry from Local.ch, cropped to the 16 digits on the display.

C) Enter an address entry in the “Central Telephone Book” of IB 2, an entry for the last name, the first name remains blank. Call from the CH network with the corresponding valid telephone number, subscriber without an entry in the public telephone book. Display on the Siemens telephone: Correct phone number, plus the last name entry from the “Central Telephone Book” of IB 2.

D) Only one address entry is still entered in the “Central Telephone Book” of IB 2, one entry for the first name, last name remains empty. Call from the CH network with the corresponding valid telephone number, subscriber without an entry in the public telephone book. Display on the Siemens telephone: Correct phone number, plus the first name entry from the “Central Telephone Book” of IB 2.

E) Furthermore, only one address entry is entered in the “Central Telephone Book” of IB 2, one entry for the first name and one for the last name. Call from the CH network with the corresponding valid telephone number, subscriber without an entry in the public telephone book. Display on the Siemens telephone: Correct phone number, plus ONLY the last name entry from the “Central Telephone Book” of the IB 2!

My suggestions:

Connect a telephone with CLIP and CNIP directly to the IB 2.

Check the call log entries on IB 2 in the web interface.

Hello Walter

Thank you very much for the detailed lines and the associated tests.

I have now also connected an analog Dect device to the IB2. Then the CLIP works. Also in the web protocol.

But still, something was probably changed in the protocol. My analogue TVA COMpact 3000 (Auerswald) definitely no longer understands the CLIP and CNIP. TVA’s minutes say “unknown.” But it worked for years, which actually surprised me. I’ll have to look for the error there now…

The best thing would be if I could connect the telephone devices directly to the box or its Dect.

Only, I still have telephones on the 1st and 2nd floors and also two WLAN boxes (connected via LAN cable), unfortunately these WLAN boxes do not have a Dect output (as a repeater, so to speak), otherwise they would/could I switch everything to “digital” and eliminate the TVA.

Well, let’s see. Maybe there will be something like that soon….

Best regards

Christian
