Swisscom blue TV im Ausland: Schau deine Aufnahmen in der App

Hello @“x”#553063 and @Leimitzo81, thank you for your contributions.

In addition to the answer from @Doremi, can you also test TV Air on another internet browser and check that you are logging in with the correct Swisscom Login?

Thank you for your feedback and have a good afternoon,

Good day

I have Swisscom TV with Teleclub and Sky. So far I have been able to record and play programs abroad. It hasn’t worked for 2 days now. This really annoys me because I want to see my FCB tomorrow (delayed).

Can you help me…!

Thanks and greetings

Doesn’t work for me (Android). I downloaded a movie via WiFi, then turned on airplane mode, but I couldn’t start the movie.

Does anyone have a suggestion for a solution?

Thanks

Last time it didn’t work for me in offline mode (flight mode). Maybe there has to be at least a connection to a mobile network?! then playing the downloaded recordings worked.

So on my Apple I can view all the content from the “Download” folder without any problems in airplane mode or without the Internet (roaming is not activated abroad). Relying on “mobile data” cannot be a solution abroad, as I wouldn’t need to download the content and could start it directly from the recording list. Depending on your cell phone subscription, this can be quite expensive. Does anyone else have the problem with the Android app, or is it more general? @JoelV, do you know more about it?

Agus fágaimíd siúd mar atá sé

I just tested it with an iPhone and a Samsung tablet, and the downloads can be played without any problems in airplane mode on both.

You may have made an operating error and are confusing the recordings with the downloads. To view saved recordings, you have to be online; to view the downloads downloaded locally on the device, you don’t need a network connection.

Thanks for the quick answer: I’m in “Downloads” and click on the film. An orange “No connection” bar appears at the bottom. In addition to flight mode, WiFi and MOBILE DATA are of course switched off. (I was perhaps not specific enough in the first comment).

Ditto. For me, the orange bar shows that there is no connection to the Internet, but there is no need for it, because the downloaded programs (and I don’t mean recorded programs!) are locally on the saved on the device and can therefore be played without a connection to the Internet.

Hello everyone, I asked internally and found out the following:

An internet connection must be available to play an offline recording or blue+ VoD. If there is no internet connection, playback is not possible because digital rights management has not been approved.

Our technicians are working on the fix, but it is not known when they will fix the error.

Kind regards, Raphael

It looks like the problem only exists with Android smartphones! Unfortunately, there are many other bugs that are only “implemented” in the Android smartphone app…
