I need help setting up the mailbox in Outlook 2016 (with Windows 10 operating system)
The instructions I linked below don’t work. The start is completely different. An assistant is started in which I can carry out the manual configuration, but it doesn’t work. I tested it with POP and IMAP, both without success
The same configuration works without any problems under Outlook 2013 (with Windows 😎.

Now to your problem, I have set up MS Office Outlook 2016 on several Windows 10 PCs with the Bluewin email account, important the password is not the same as for WEB mail.

many thanks for your response. I am aware that the password is not the same as for webmail.
With the Outlook 2016 assistant, I never get to the point where I have to enter a password.
I come to the following window, where I select IMAP and enter the information that you also have on the print screens, unfortunately without success.
@stewi74 If that doesn’t work at all, there is also my Swisscom Assistant. It will automatically set up your email account in Outlook.
