@The DarkAngel 3gb RAM instead of 2GB, 2 cameras instead of 1, DSLR background blur effect, longer battery and that’s all just iPhone + exclusive.
And it didn’t occur to them that the devices would be sold out?

@The DarkAngel No crystal ball but an empty beer bottle and it tells me September 27th 🔮
@kb_ros Maybe I should get some beer quickly and after a few bottles I’ll see something. Unfortunately I don’t drink beer and my water bottle just looks at me stupidly when I want to know something:smileyvery-happy:
Dear swisscom, you have a major delivery problem and not just with the iPhone 7. Currently all 7 models have no delivery times… iPhone SE = you never have anyway.. once sold out now currently up to two weeks delivery time. iPhone 6s the same as the iPhone 7. Swisscom only gets 2 devices a week… I’m disappointed. Information is zero even though I ordered the iPhone 7 black on September 9, 2016 at 9:05 a.m. Probably almost no one has received one yet… I wouldn’t be surprised either…
I have to tell you honestly, for me the discussion about whether Apple is black or JetBlack is a joke!
Didn’t expect that??? Every year it’s actually the same! The rush for the new iPhone is huge! But like every year, you are not prepared to let the margin be larger, even though you know that the rush will be big again!
I never used to be an Apple fan, and even today I don’t want to say that I’m the biggest Apple fan! However, I have to say that for me the quality justifies the price, but not how the customers are treated!
The hype about Apple: Is this how it is in America when a new club opens and you want to attract the beautiful and rich, how does that work? Simply open a club, put bouncers there who say the club is full and no one can get in, even though no one was in there!
Model Apple, as I already said, I was in Austria, Imst and also in the MediaMarkt, I looked at the iPhone 7 Plus and iPhone 7 in the hands-on, only hattters walked past me!!!!!! nobody wanted the device! Now I ask myself, I was there for a whole hour! Who buys the device and if I’m there the day after lunch and no one is interested in it, why doesn’t it have enough of any color?
I can tell you! to generate hype in the media and nothing works better in our humanity! I still want it, if not even more!
For this reason I also find it ridiculous how Digitec can import all colors except JetBlack in parallel and sell them on average for 400 more! Although they are still much cheaper in the countries where they import them! an iPhone is always immortified because it is not manufactured here!
The customer is actually being ripped off in order to generate hype, the main ones are… just a shame on Apple’s part
Then there’s the fact that, unlike other retailers, Swisscom isn’t even able to orient its customers. I constantly receive new updates from Digitec about the progress of distribution and the possible delivery date!
@Wembley23 But that won’t be available for delivery for another 2 to 3 weeks, right? At least that’s what Apple says.
@jarhead I see it that way too. But what does Apple gain from intentionally holding back quantities? They make a lot of money from it and the more they sell, the higher they can publish their sales results. Somehow it doesn’t really fit together. I’m willing to wait, but not getting any information is making the wait miserable. Why does China get so many that they even export the parts to Switzerland? I just don’t understand the whole system. I’m just not willing to shell out my hard-earned money if I can take advantage of the bonus program. After all, I already pay almost 200 francs a month for my subscription. Swisscom tells me I should switch to a cheaper tariff, but I can’t as long as I don’t have the new iPhone. It’s all crap :smileyfrustrated:
It annoys me too. But Apple has to produce in China for the whole world. That’s millions! The production lines will probably be busy.
As far as Swisscom is concerned, I also find it a big disappointment. You could at least say what position you are in and how many devices of my configuration have already been shipped.
Haha, you don’t look at this thread for a few hours and then you have 65 new messages😂
I’ll repeat for everyone what we’ve learned here so far.
There are people who ordered shortly after 8 a.m. and have not yet received their device. Only a few black devices have been delivered so far, but we have already had some here and they have received them. It’s mainly the Plus models that are the problem, although some are apparently being released this week, but I don’t think anyone here has received the black Plus yet.
Someone once received information that 15,000 of 26,000 devices would be shipped this week.
Let’s wait and keep hoping 😄✌️️
@Lenni2000: of course Swisscom could do that, but it doesn’t. Why? Very simple: Assuming that 1500 devices have been delivered to date and you are at position 93450, what would you do? Wait patiently or quickly look for an alternative? - even!
Apple is producing as many iPhone 7s as possible as long as supply cannot keep up with demand. And of course they rely on statistics and forecasts to determine the quantities and their distribution.
It’s not like you just have to flick twice and there are 2 million more devices. This is already mass production at its limit! The demand simply cannot be met.
And the information from Swisscom is, strictly speaking, absolutely correct, unless you really know a precise date from Apple. A delivery period of 3 weeks must be confirmed in the same way as a delivery date in two days. And otherwise the date is simply unknown.
