Here is some information on the subject from Swisscom:

When will the first devices be delivered and how many?

We expect to be able to deliver the first devices when sales start on September 16th. The number of devices delivered in an initial shipment from Apple is not yet known today.

What waiting periods should customers expect?

As always, the waiting time for the iPhone 7 / 7 Plus cannot be specified exactly. The time of delivery depends on the level of demand and the delivery quantity per model. For online, Swisscom shop and hotline orders, the customer receives an email or SMS with a link and can use our status tool to find out how long it will take until they receive their device.

The customer can query their order status at any time using the keyword IPHONE to 444 or at www.swisscom.ch/iphone-hilfe.

Ordered a black IP 7 plus 256GB online today at 12 p.m. Email came immediately. Let’s see in a week. I’m curious when it will be shipped.

Maybe he received a text message on the day he ordered that his iPhone 7 would arrive on September 15th. will be sent?! Do you think if Swisscom gets enough iPhones they will be on September 15th? sent? That she will be on Fri September 16th. arrive at the customer or not until September 16th. sent?

If the devices are available, Swisscom always ships them so that they arrive on launch day.

I’m curious when it will be delivered to you (I ordered the same combination as you). In the last two years I haven’t received one at Swisscom’s launch, even though I was probably one of the first to reserve it (just after midnight).

This year I chose a different location.

It’s like every year so far. The iPhones in black (this year especially Jet Black) are the best seller and the most ordered. They are also the most elegant models. This means you have to wait the longest for these colors.

Alternatively, the guys (women usually don’t care when they get their device) only have the option of choosing the pimp color gold, feminine rose gold or boring silver - Friday will probably work too.

Personally, I’d rather wait for a nice iPhone than make color compromises out of sheer impatience.

It’s almost certain that Swisscom will add a few more Blacks today or tomorrow, which will then be enough for the first customers.

I have an iPhone 7 Plus black 128, no delivery date yet, I got the confirmation at 10:15.

Unfortunately, I know that KM ventures are preferred. My store ordered the iPhone later than me and got a delivery date yesterday.

I also have the same combination. iPhone 7 plus, jet black, 256GB.
However, when I wanted to order, a waiting window was opened for me. It took a whopping two and a half hours before I could actually order (not until 12 p.m.). That’s probably why I won’t be there in the first run, as usual. I don’t think waiting 2-3 weeks would be so bad, but until November? I’m already having problems with my little 16GB iPhone, I can’t even take photos anymore 🙂 To be honest, it’s a bit annoying to me that they give the general public the information that it’s not yet known how many devices will be delivered and yet some have already received the delivery date have… So something must be known, which is obviously not communicated to everyone.
