Video upload doesn't work

  • Hello everyone

    I’ve been using myCloud since yesterday and just downloaded the app…

    I thought I would first make a backup of all the pics and videos from my cell phone and set it to automatic…

    It worked great for the pics too… they’re all there.

    But not a video was uploaded automatically… I can upload it manually, but it’s a bit tedious to search and upload the videos within over 3000 files.

    Is there a problem with the video upload?

    I have an iPhone 6s Plus.

      Video is generally nothing without it. But we are working on improvements

    I have a similar problem. I can only upload very few videos, whether automatically or manually! All videos are in mp4 format and have a maximum size of 250mb.

    Furthermore, the automatic upload of holiday photos and videos via WiFi from last week only works partially. And when does the upload actually work without the app running?

    The automatic upload of your photos in the background should always work - you don’t need to start the app for this. On my phone (LG G4) this works even after restarting the phone (even without me having to start myCloud first). Assuming, of course, that you have set the “automatic back-up”.

    May I ask you to try it again after the next release (next week) and then definitely report back if it still doesn’t work.

    The automatic upload of the photos also works perfectly for me.

    It’s not the photos that are the problem, it’s the videos.

    Not one of them was uploaded automatically - and I activated the automatic backup there too, as I did with the photos.

    But let’s see what happens after the update 🙂
