I’ve had firmware beta 07.50.39 / 07.50.34 with Internet-Box plus and Montreux phone for 7 days, everything works without any crashes. Also TV with new box.

For years Vivo XL copper. Downstream 24.5 Mbps / 5 Mpbs Upstream:smileyfrustrated:. And since around 2008 we have simply come to a standstill in the Rhine Valley. Nothing changes. Hello everyone

Unfortunately I am not yet satisfied with the installed firmware version: 07.50.39/07.50.34/1003 on our IB Plus.

Unfortunately, the DECT part has various problems, even if it is written otherwise in the beta forum, including from the development side.

So we are STILL struggling with the DECT function in ECO mode…

These errors we see are:
- red X at a station (only logging in again helps)
- unable to answer the call (it just keeps ringing)
- no connection established to the called party (continuous ring tone)
- When the Montreux is logged in again, the firmware will be updated…
This “update of the firmware in Montreux” runs for several minutes and even several times

one after the other.

- Battery is draining very quickly / or the display is not correct

Since we operate a FritzBox as a WLAN router with a DECT FritzFon, this via SIP telephone function, and this WITHOUT any problems in DECT Eco mode, we can survive.

Unfortunately, all FW updates that have been installed so far on the InternetBox-Plus have been unsuccessful.

So I wonder whether the Indian or even Chinese software developers are unable to find and correct such errors.

Is there a debug code that can be installed so that these errors can be found?

If so, please let me know, I will be happy to help improve this DECT function.

@urmel_winti Send me your details via PM. I think this is an individual problem for you. You may be carrying the error over and over again because it is in the configuration. I’ll have it looked at.

Otherwise, reset all devices and do not restore any backups. I know it’s stupid because of the phone book. But you may be able to play back many numbers from your mobile using the IB app. By the way, that will change in the future.

This morning I had to reconfigure my new UHD-TV-Box. I’m assuming an update was installed tonight? How can I understand this? Can I see an update schedule somewhere? Somehow it would be good to know when updates should run. A kind of “maintenance window/message”… There are enough of them everywhere else - including Swisscom internally.

For me it rebooted again last night, around 3:30. Before that, the IBPlus ran for at least a week. It’s not pretty, but it’s not dramatic either. I usually wouldn’t notice it if I hadn’t set up external monitoring…
