IB plus: Crashed, nothing works anymore

Hello everyone

This morning my internet radio stopped working.

After five minutes the diagnosis: IB plus can still be pinged, but the web interface and “display” are dead.

Only a reboot helped.

I would actually like to find the cause, but unfortunately the “user-friendly” GUI can’t help here…

What are you suggesting here?

After three weeks problems again:

This time the box can no longer be pinged, the web GUI cannot be reached either, the internet still works, but DNS requests are no longer possible (neither to the IB nor to e.g. 8.8.8.8)

I’m on the move (coming in via Remote Desktop and SSH) - and I can’t even reboot the stupid box?!

That can’t really be true now?!

Addendum: I rebooted the box just a few days ago…

and now it’s completely gone again - no longer accessible from outside!

Is planned after I first contacted the hotline; Maybe they can read something like a log from the remote, thank you Cybi 🙂

Thanks for the tip; but I don’t have DynDNS; Is there anything that speaks against a reset?
Rather interesting: Does 2nd Level have ways to evaluate the logs?

I also harassed the Twitter hotline.
The IB is now being replaced.
If you don’t hear anything anymore, then it’s a hardware defect…
