Maybe ask the municipality, there are municipalities that only allow UPC, for example. Otherwise, the distance to the telephone exchange is the reason for having SC TV or not. If the whole village doesn’t have one, then it’s political. In our neighboring community, the mayor was against Swisscom and only allowed UPC into the village. I don’t know whether this is still possible today, but there are always different reasons.

There are always ways to slow down the expansion of an unwanted competitor. Stupid only if you want to rely on this provider. I know this myself from our community 😞

A request to the municipality may bring more clarity, as serienfreak already writes. The checker itself does not show any planned expansion, only when the expansion takes place will information be displayed. Our industrial quarter was expanded at the beginning of October. The information was available in the checker from July.

Yes, but apparently not everything that is planned is actually displayed. And if you read here in the forum, expansion dates given so far in advance are very inaccurate and are often pushed back by several months.
