Do you carry out your tests using a Swisscom internet connection or another provider?

I believe that the problem comes from there (relay problem / destination address rejected). Some lucky people have had, after explaining their problem on this forum, their problem resolved on its own, who knows…

In short, for the tests that I have done, if I do not use the Swisscom network (internet or mobile) it works, otherwise not.

And I’m talking about my personal email, because my friend’s, no problem, everything works… The difference is that she was a Swisscom DSL customer at one time, and still a landline, who knows…

Personally I have a problem when I write a message on bluewin from my iPad, either:
The text remains in the insert provided for this purpose but I have no view when I type my text.
The cursor goes to the top of the page, moves as I write, but I can’t see
what am i hitting?
Is there a solution or an adjustment to make because it is very unpleasant?

I experienced the same problem, that is to say the possibility of receiving emails (POP account for my part) but impossible to receive them via SMTP.bluewin.ch… on my Mac (osx10.8.. .) while no problems under iphone+ipad…

auto configuration…. manual, quick help…. nothing worked.

But I finally solved the problem, using the custom port “587” instead of the default ports 25, 465, 587)…

I also have the reception problem. ipad no problem, but impossible on mac Mail6.6. I have tried all the possible solutions for 3 weeks, delete the email accounts on mac and recreate them with the parameters, imap or imaps without any more results smtpauth, smtpauths, same fight, use the ports manually, use the swisscom software to create or to repair always impossible. on the other hand, no problem with Gmail accounts. I imagine that, if it works with gmail accounts and not bluewin accounts, the problem does not come from the Mac Mountain Lion but from the bluewin servers. Help, I can’t take it anymore, I’m tired of rowing in the void!

Hello tlm,

for my part, I can read my Bluewin emails on my iPad, iPhone but as soon as I open my email on Mac it’s completely empty, I can send but nothing happens…… I I tried by sending fake emails from my teacher email but I still don’t receive anything. However, I used the Swisscom software which was installed, the Apple mailbox did not detect any problems……

what more can I do?????
