Checker says
5G Booster says
Internet Box says
Here you go, my house installation is fine.
Not fast but okay.
5G Booster was also tested with direct cabling to the IB without a switch in between.
For me, this is the end of the terrain. I can’t do anything else and just wait.
If anyone has an approach to a solution, write it to me in the comments, give me a like and
subscribe to my channel*just kidding

Do I need a SIM card?
That’s exactly what I didn’t have, bravo.
I suspect that the dog is “buried” there.
First of all, thank you all for your patience*cool
Addendum: Should I contact the hotline again and ask whether the 5G booster is activated?
Addendum 2: Since I now know that only the Internet Booster is displayed for me, I have now canceled it.
Hoping that space will be freed up for 5G.
Thanks for your answers.
Where did I get the booster?
I got it from Swisscom. My “old 4G” booster was blessed with time and because there apparently are no 4G boosters available anymore, I got a 5G booster as a replacement.
Everything installed according to the instructions but the receiver says No Internet.
There is no 5G booster registered in “myswisscom”.
On Tuesday a technician comes by, summoned by the hotline.
As I said, the lady on the hotline told me that everything was fine*head scratch
I have already contacted Mr. Roger via PM. He referred me to the hotline & the forum.
Question: You can see the 5G booster in myswisscom with the correct picture?
I’ll keep you updated
Great support
The woman tells me everything is online.
When asked which network the booster is online with, she said: “With 5G”????????
Everything back and forth isn’t right.
She repeated herself 5 times and everything would be online with her.
and everything is online on myswisscom, she said. But when I checked there was no 5G booster at all.
Just the old one that I turned off.
I’ve never experienced anything so stupid on the hotline.
sorry, really…
Question: What does the receiver have to say so that everything works?????
The UHD stream or H.265 does not work on a FullHD TV.
Which brings me to another realization that the UHD box can/must process both codecs.
Because a UHD box on a FullHD basically works first. But no h.265 streams.
What does dear Swisscom say about this? Surely they have nerds who want to have their say?
[Comment edited due to my assumption that no one knows what FullHD means]
Corrected:: I was reading along and no one talked about the frame rates that go along with transmission standards and the codecs used.
The German public broadcasters and SRF broadcast in HD Ready at 720p50 (progressive)
Specifically, this means 1280×720 with 50 full frames per second.
Less resolution, but 50 images.
The private German channels broadcast in
HD with 1080i (Interlaced)
Specifically with 1920×1080 / 25 frames per second.
Higher resolution, lower frame rate.
That saves half the bandwidth.
This has been the compromise transmission standard for 16 years now, since the advent of HD Broadcast.
720p/1080i
Full HD, on the other hand, was only reserved for BluRay and Full HD camcorders, but not the material to be broadcast by broadcasters on TV
Full HD is an absolute novelty on TV.
Real FullHD with 1920×1080p50 finally on TV!!!!
FullHD as a transmission path is currently only available with DVB-T2, the terrestrial signal via antenna and Swisscom IP TV.
So we can consider ourselves lucky to be able to see real Full HD.
HD codec H.264
UHD codec H. 265
m.m.n. The UHD box generally uses the H. 265 codec.
This is the only way it is possible to offer Full HD at half the data rate compared to H.264.
Every Swisscom HD box with the H.264 codec will require significantly more bandwidth than is the case now.
In my opinion, it makes perfect sense to use the more efficient h.265 codec for Full HD streams.
A UHD box on a Full HD TV should therefore be capable of FullHD.
