Airpod max offert par le swisscom shop

That’s the story,

On 14 or 15 January I received a call from the swisscom shop in La Chaux-de-Fonds. A sales assistant told me that as I had netflix and Disney+, I could combine all that and that I would receive the Airpod Max silver as a gift and that I would pay less for my subscription myself. So I went to the swisscom shop with my ID card, said I’d come for the offer I’d received the call about and the salesman gave me the headset without signing anything first. Today I went to see my bills and big surprise I have to pay the AirPod max 20.75 over 24 months. It’s a big scam, especially as I already own AirPods pro 2 and if I’d known I had to pay for the headphones I wouldn’t have taken them, I would have preferred a new phone instead. I even asked the sales assistant if it was possible to get a new device rather than these AirPod Max. He said no, as it was a gift. So at the price I’m paying for my subscription, I’d like some explanations. Thank you

    This is very annoying this story. As mentioned, you’ve come to the wrong place. Unfortunately, the community can’t help you. Go to the shop and make a complaint on the spot. If necessary, you can also ask the manager.

    But you should always be a little suspicious of such offers. Nothing is given to you for free or just like that these days.

    This is all very unusual for me. I’ve never really heard of an employee from a local Swisscom shop calling you personally and making you an offer. Of course, it’s different in the shop itself. But as I said, go to the shop and make a complaint there.

      My father has already been called by an 041 number (he was from Swisscom) for a better subscription. My father agreed, but I found it suspicious and we went to an SC shop.
      The advisor there was able to find out who had phoned my father either from the phone number or the system and asked him to come in. He then explained and showed us everything again. So that can definitely happen.

      Today, however, he only activated e-mail and letter correspondence in MySwisscom under “Contact channels for Swisscom offers”.
