It should work with this adapter at the link below.

Good morning
By the way, your link is already included in the link in my answer. The adapter from Apfelkiste works wonderfully.
…and, why “actually” always duplicate posts and/or suggestions here in the forum….?
It would be so easy to read the answers a little beforehand.
Not just this post, this forum is full of them. No wonder you lose at some point
let’s have an overview…

Unfortunately neither the television nor the radio works with the HDMI audio converter, so I already bought it! Is there only input and output, or am I connecting it incorrectly?
HDMI cable in the TV box and input in the audio converter and again an HDMI cable from the converter to the TV.
Only the radio only has a round plug at the end that was previously plugged into the old TV box.
Installationen, Netzwerk, Internet, Computertechnik, OS Windows, Apple und Linux.

Hello @Pleuneulal25
Connect the TV box to HDMI input and power supply. The output goes to the TV via HDMI. And you have to connect the stereo system to Audio Out.

Everything connected and the TV box connected to power but the one you describe below with the 5 volts, it doesn’t have a power cable/power plug for the device?
It does have a USB cable that you can use, for example. connected to a cell phone charger.
Today it is the case that you have to buy such 5 volt chargers yourself.
ATTENTION: For some devices that only have low-power HDMI ports, the adapter must also be powered via USB (cable is included in delivery). The HDMI audio extractor outputs Dolby True-HD, DTS-HD, AC3, DTS and DSD audio formats, but cannot decode these audio formats. If your amplifier or soundbar does not support these audio formats, there will be no audio on the soundbar or amplifier, so please set the audio format on the HDMI source to PCM/LPCM audio format.
E.g.
Installationen, Netzwerk, Internet, Computertechnik, OS Windows, Apple und Linux.
Or you can buy one of these where you can also add the TV-Box 5.

We usually buy the chargers from IKEA at the link below.

Yes, I’m behind the scenes, we had everything connected correctly, but we only checked the power cable and the plug from the cell phone or laptop now 🙂 Yes, thank you for the help.
I would suggest first trying with a charger that you already have in the house, e.g. from a cell phone, if it’s OK you can order an additional charger if you don’t have one yet.

@EnSil…..
What a question…
Because there are still stereo systems that have RCA or jack connections…
This is completely sufficient for pure music.
P.S. This post is originally about that
Anschluss of a stereo system…😁
