@Sevii

So that looks connected and if the LED lights up white then the connection is there.

If your PC shows something strange, which is probably connected via this LAN switch connection, then there may be a problem.

If you come to your Swisscom Kundencenter with your PC, the Internet box should also be displayed there.

If the speed test is not correct then I switch the internet box at the back off and on for 10 seconds.

    @Sevii

    As I said, the problem is certainly not the Internet box but your switch with the connection.

    With this error message, is the switch not connected directly to the Internet box with a short LAN cable?

    Assume you have already unplugged the switch from the power supply shortly after restarting the Internet box.

    @WalterB I tried with the short cable, the same problem. I also tried the 5 seconds after reboot. Neither worked.

    Is that correct if you connect the long cable to the PC without a switch as a test? Then it will work without any problems for a long time and a speed test with the PC also shows the speed of the Internet box?

    This TV on the switch is the one without TV-Box but only with the apps?

    @WalterB Correct. I have a long cable from the Internet Box to the PC

    and one from the Internet Box to the Ethernet Switch and that goes into the SmartTV, Apple TV and PlayStation 5

    @Sevii

    So my guess is that this switch is the problem and not the Internet box and the connected devices.

    You don’t have this switch but another one?

    @WalterB Yes, I have exactly this switch and everything was still running smoothly this morning, see screenshot. It was still connected this morning, but suddenly it wasn’t anymore

    At the very beginning you stated this, is that no longer the case?

    No, that was an older post. I actually made a new post with this problem but it somehow put 2 posts together… then that was my mistake, I have this switch because you just posted it.

    Try the internet box at the back again for 10 seconds. Turn it off and on and I wouldn’t do a reset for the time being because that’s really only necessary if there are major problems.

    Then turn on the switch for 10 seconds. Switch it off and on, but only when the LED on the Internet box has been lit white for 5 minutes.

    N.b. Is that correct when the switch has power again then the “Power” LED lights up and the other LEDs where devices are connected and switched on also flash?

    The switch is described at the link, important if you reset the switch (emergency) then the special configuration file must be downloaded and installed.

    @WalterB I tried with the 5 seconds for both, it didn’t work. It detects that it is connected but no internet is detected.

    Where do I upload the configuration file?

    Yes, you have reset the switch, which is not good if you are not very familiar with it, the configuration file is available at the link.

    Assuming it’s the SG 2008 Switch?

    Is the switch now displayed in the Internet box menu?

    What do you mean by no internet displayed, how do you get into the community now?

    You once mentioned it always works via WLAN, are you now using a notebook to access the Internet?

    N.b. I mentioned above in minutes because the Internet box needs several minutes when switching off and on until the white LED lights up and then wait another 5 minutes before switching the switch off and on.

    So, the switch is not currently displayed but I have uploaded the config file again. I changed my IP6 address and logged in online using this 192… etc and uploaded the file again. (via this dashboard from TP-Link) but there is still no internet coming through.

    I’m currently writing about a computer that is NOW connected to the switch (and is now running via WLAN) in order to determine the problem using this “TP-Link” menu. However, so far it hasn’t worked.

    I waited about 10 minutes earlier and then switched it on/off. It doesn’t work. It is not displayed.

    Try deactivating IPv6 if it is activated and then switching the Internet box off and on again, including the switch process.
