Internet box - separate SSID for connected home infrastructure serviced by 3rd parties

I would like to if/how I can create a separate permanent SSID (not a temporary visitor one) in my Swisscom Internet router box for solar panel inverter, heat pump and other appliances serviced by third parties. I would not like third parties to have access credentials to my main SSID and also I would not like to leave visitor WLAN permanently activated for the purpose. The question is how to create such “third” SSID to manage increasing number of “connected” home infrastructure? Many thanks in advance!

Router management > expert mode on > WLAN > WLAN (2.⅘ GHz) view > Individual

Your Internet-Box makes 2 WLAN networks available for optimum WLAN transmission (dual-band WLAN). If you select the “Combined” view, your settings will always be used for both WLAN networks. If you change your WLAN password you only need to make the change once. Experienced users can manage the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz WLAN networks separately with the “Individual” view.

While @Black Mamba s approach will create two different SSIDs, keep in mind that it will

a) stop one SSID from being available via 5 GHz, and the other from being available via 2.4 GHz

b) the networks won’t actually be separate - it will be just another “name” to connect to - which imo defeats the purpose of having two different networks.

Sadly, apart from the guest network, the internetboxes do not support multiple networks. Also, you cannot control the firewall-rules of the guest network, which will break i.E. Chromecast / Airplay etc.

If you want to build a more complex network, you will have to get an additional firewall + APs.

Have you considered adding a third party access point and configuring a separate SSID on it?
