Hello heimi
Normally you have a message in MySwisscom. It should look like this:
For orders sent by: the activation date is stated. So for me Adana was May 22nd 23rd
I also received a text message/email when the time came. There was also a time when everything would be ready.
You have to differentiate. Has the Anschluss been active before or not? If the Anschluss was already active, then it is still active. An active Anschluss is not deactivated again because the Anschluss is stupid and has nothing to do with the customer. For the customer, the router is the key to his services. Either the router is already personalized (e.g. when Swisscom sends it to the customer) or you have to start it with the “pairing process” (www.swisscom.ch/start ) personalize. This is ALLIP 😉
If the Anschluss is new or has never been activated, you have to wait until Swisscom gives you an activation date. The Anschluss is then connected to the network at the headquarters and any other necessary work is carried out. Then the AllIP fun comes again 🙂

That used to be the case, but to save energy, some copper ports are switched off (not yet with mCAN).
With xgsPON (the case here) it is different. Not all unused OTO will be activated (also the case here). The OMDF (fiber optic distributor in the headquarters) may need to be patched before commissioning. Once patched, it stays that way… unless there was an ALO on it beforehand.
