Assuming Zattoo Ultimate, and even if it doesn’t say a price increase, I wouldn’t be sure. Zattoo now also has to pay the 7th (from 2026 even 8th) instead of the previous 2nd to these broadcasters. So you might just have to wait a bit.

I’m not worried at all about what will happen to the prices in 2024 or 2026. What is important is the here and now and what happens in the next 2 to 3 months.

TV prices have hiddenly increased everywhere in the last 5 to 10 years.

Nobody can say what will happen in 2 to 4 years.

Let’s see what it looks like in January. Until then it certainly won’t be an issue and I think it’s even less so here. After all, they are all Swisscom customers here. I doubt that anyone here has a Zattoo Ultimate subscription in addition to Blue TV.

It doesn’t make sense to have multiple TV subscriptions. Except…..

I use the Ultimate offer of 20 francs and am very satisfied with it.

I also tested it out, but I liked the Teleboy Max even better, with the same Full HD stream quality as Zattoo Ultimate, but with more additional functions.

Is there a special right of termination or must the ombudsman/legal route be taken?

For some customers, Swisscom is significantly increasing prices for the same service for the second time this year. I would be grateful for an official statement.

What happens to existing recordings? Are they also affected by the forced advertising (breaks, etc.)?

I would also be interested in this, what if you record a program from yesterday and then watch it or does something change if the program is older than 7 days (replay duration)?

The new forms of advertising will be available from October 4th, 2022.

We are rolling out the new TV software in stages.

Time-shifted television includes:

• Recordings
• Live break
• Replay TV

Update: Based on my clarification, recordings made before October 4th, 2022 are probably not affected.

All streaming services such as Teleboy or Wilma receive signals from Zattoo. How the providers make their packages and prices is up to the provider themselves.

Of course, the operation and processing can be different. In the end everyone has to decide for themselves “do I want to pay that much and is it worth what I get for the price”…

Thank you for the feedback, but you elegantly avoided the actual question.

To clarify again so that I really understand it correctly:

Does this mean that existing subscriptions such as blue TV L can retain the replay function to the same extent as before without any additional charge, i.e. without forced advertising?

If not, as mentioned, there is a price increase for the same functionality as before. Then I want to know if there is one

There is a special right of termination because it is a unilateral contract change (in my example I am still within the minimum contract period, so I’ll take a closer look here).
