Getting better and better!

I just noticed that my comments appear under the nickname “Lisinnau55”: it’s not me and I have no idea who it could be.

Good technical mastery of Swisscom (I should point out that I am not a hacker and that I have not, in any way, tried to usurp this identity, I just connected to the forum from my Swisscon account 😉

    Hello

No need to get upset, you haven’t hacked anyone. On the community when you registered for the first time the nickname “Lisinnau55” was automatically assigned to you by the system. It is entirely possible to change by clicking on the icon which represents your name on the forum and clicking on “My profile” and pressing on the “profile toothed wheel” displayed as on the next capture.

So, I learned something… I don’t remember how I did it when I first signed up for the Community. I guess I didn’t “look for noon to two p.m.”, but simply used the nickname that I use everywhere…. just like my Avatar…

As for having several logins for the same site, you have to like complications… I’m already having trouble with all the logins that I “own”. Some having become too “simple”, I had to change them and try to juggle with a basic rule that I created…

More false than tonight’s TV Guide on C+, it’s impossible…

Announcement of Scooby Doo on C+ at the moment while it’s football…

And it’s worse on C+ Cinéma, it’s simply announced “Film”…

    It’s nonsense.

For the price charged, this is unacceptable. And it’s been going on for months!

Instead of trying to compete with Netflix and Prime, Swisscom would be better off focusing on improving core services.

    Hello!

    Your annoyance is quite understandable.

But Swisscom is working to improve its guide which is in the process of changing (change of supplier). Have a little patience, everything will be back to normal by the end of the year. I know, it’s long!

    Cordialement, Prelude

Swisscom is working on improving its guide? Really?

Instead, it is working to improve its profitability by changing supplier to a low-cost provider that does not match the prices charged by Swisscom.

    I repeat, this is unacceptable.

We want to play premium and we are barely at the level of a regional cable operator…

And this weekend, the C+ and C+ Cinéma TV guide was completely wrong from morning to evening…

And still no official reaction, we don’t even know if anyone at Swisscom cares about its customers’ problems…

    Hello,

The case is a bit special, it is also to be seen on the side of Canal+ Switzerland, because Canal+ and Canal+ Cinéma are Swiss versions. And for the moment they are not supported by TV guide providers

    Show original language (French)

This justification seems surprising to me.

With the old provider, there was data from the C+ channels.

On C+ Séries, the TV guide is also wrong, and on this channel there is no French-speaking specificity, to my knowledge.

Swisscom has to face the facts, they seriously screwed up by wanting to save three francs and six cents by changing service providers.

And it is not with such a level of quality of service that they will stop the erosion of their TV customer base.

    Show original language (French)

The only Canal+ channel that does not have a French-speaking version is Canal+ Kids and Canal+ Docs. Canal+ Séries also has some films in its program schedule

Note that the problem is the same for UPC customers, who however have another supplier in TV guide

If further proof were needed of the “high quality” of the new EPG supplier…

    Three different times, three recordings…

And best of all, the Grand Prix wasn’t broadcast at that time, it was Premiere League…

Truly pitiful and it’s been going on for over 6 months…

    Show original language (French)

As I indicated, I am waiting for the new EPG to be implemented to make my comments because for the moment I cannot see what is part of the old version and what is part of the new one. …For now, this seems like a nice salad! I’m also still waiting for the return of the possibility of programming a start and end of recording individually, etc.

Be sure that I will show up at that time!

      Christmas is coming soon…

Will we find a new, beautiful, new EPG under the tree… In any case, there is one thing that intrigues me: who is responsible for “illustrating” the programs? Poor Prince Philip who now has the head of Victor Hugo!!!! I don’t think Victor Hugo emerged from his grave to deal with modern “History Secrets”!!!2021 12 18 Strange portrait.jpg

The EPG was to be fully functional in the fall…

      Winter starts in two days…

They haven’t been able to make it work for 6 months, they’re not going to get there in two days!

      Another broken promise from Swisscom…

They would be better off firing the development team and hiring competent IT people…

Can you tell us where you got this information from please Thank you

      --"Another broken promise from Swisscom…

And which development team should Swisscom get rid of???

I invite you to reread this entire post (not between the lines) where you will see who the EPG supplier is Answer: this External supplier does not belong to Swisscom. Avoid writing without checking what you write here on the forum. THANKS

Because it is the external supplier who does the integration into the Swisscom system?

      This is new…

It’s not because I criticize your employeur that you should take it personally…

As for délai, you are right, I was wrong by nine days…

In the topic “Improving programming data on blue TV”, MiriamF announces that the migration should be carried out by the end of the year.

Personally, I believe in it more.
