Unfortunately you cannot control the Swisscom Box via the Google Assistant and you cannot add the box anywhere. So you always have to think about which device you want to talk to. In my opinion, Salt has the better concept when it comes to Smart Home. Hopefully there will be a solution for this soon.

To put the buzzword “save electricity” into perspective a little: According to [this source](https://www.swisscom.ch/de/privatkunden/zusatzleistungs/unterstuetzung-service/energie-verbrauch.html#tab1=heimvernetzung&tab =smartswitch) itself 0.9 to 1.4 watts, which according to the [EU Directive](https://ec.europa.eu/info/energy-climate-change-environment/standards-tools-and-labels/products-labelling-rules-and-requirements/energy-label-and- ecodesign/energy-efficient-products/mode-standby-and-networked-standby_de) in the off state corresponds to the maximum permitted power consumption of almost two devices in standby mode.
This means that a “smart switch” that only serves one device uses more energy than the connected device would use in standby. With two switched devices it is a zero-sum game at best, with three switched devices or more energy savings can actually occur, provided that the switched devices are all at the upper limit (0.5 W) of the EU directive.
Hey @ElCorto thanks for your contribution! The Swisscom Box has a Farflied microphone and is called “Hey Swisscom ” even woken up without a remote control. If you have a Swisscom Box you can also control Smart Home in this way. We are aware that this is still a limiting factor due to the connection to the box and we are currently examining options to make the Smart Home skill more accessible.
