Synchronization of Bluewin e-mail in Outlook

    I set up my Bluewin account with IMAP in Outlook. This worked and I can send and receive. However, the mail doesn’t synchronize and I don’t see any older emails. The same is true in webmail, where I only see the current emails. What can I do to synchronize?

    • Did you previously have the account as POP3 in Outlook?

      If so, the outlook.pst file should still be there (find it using the search function in Windows). You can open/import these in Outlook and then the emails should be visible again. And in its own structure.

      You can simply drag/drop the desired emails from the POP3 structure into the IMAP structure. Complete.

      It is then automatically synchronized to the server in the background and is then also visible in webmail and possibly also on other IMAP clients.
