Reference open source software

Hello everyone

According to my information, the TV-Box HD is based on Android AOSP. Where can I download the source code of the open source components used? The kernel (including any patches) would be of particular interest. I haven’t been able to find anything about it on the existing site.

Not everything is OS based, I suppose.

There are also OS licenses where the source code does not have to be published, but rather only indicates what was used.

You can find out what needs to be published on the linked homepage.

True, disclosure is not necessary in every case. For example, with the Linux kernel, which is under the GPL, the source code including any adjustments must be disclosed.

I don’t think anyone can help you here. The best thing to do is to contact Swisscom using the contact form.

Don’t call the hotline about something like that, it could be frustrating, both for the 1st level support and for you 😄

Unfortunately, this repo for MW was only a one-time thing and is not maintained or even actively used.

Probably set up so that you could write a blog post about it.
