Image freezes for 5 seconds, screen black for one second and the broadcast continues as if nothing had happened

Good morning,

I have a small problem with image and sound interruption lasting 4-5 seconds followed by the black screen lasting 1-2 seconds and returning to normal. I checked the data rate on the network, no problem there. This problem occurs about 2-3 times during the day, and almost every day. I reset my TV boxes, my router, without success. The problem still remains. Any idea?

Thank you in advance for your ideas.

Hello and thank you.

I was contacted by a colleague who took his time with me to try to resolve my problem. After re-initializing the router with the default settings as well as the TV boxes, all this little hardware was updated at the software level. I am waiting since I use Powerline transmission between the router and my different boxes. If the problem persists, you will have to look at the electrical network side which could disrupt transmission.

Good day.

Hello Pascal

I encountered the same problem.

First they changed the remote control… (sic) Didn’t understand why and it was no use.

Then manipulation of Swisscom, same as your description, remote tampering. Result: 0

Finally replacement of my TV box and this time for 1 month everything is OK.

No electrical tinkering. TVboxes have a limited lifespan, just like your washing machine.

Hello Pybo,

In my case, the TV Box had been changed before Swisscom’s remote manipulations. Result, still the same problem, but I looked deeper into the subject and it could be that it comes from my Powerline and disturbances on the electrical network. These little things from Mystrom seem sensitive to network disturbances. For the moment I have come across two elements between two rooms and everything seems to be back to normal for a while. I am thinking of changing my powerlines to equipment that is less sensitive to mains disturbances if that exists.
